Hey, I normally read every single dean koontz book I can get my hands on, however I picked this one up and thumbed through it and came across some things i thought might be too disturbing for me-i used to have more tolerance but now that i'm a parent i'm pathetic and easily disturbed. Can someone tell me if I'll be able to handle this? I don't mind spoilers if it saves me from something that might leave me sleepless for weeks. thanks much!

I've been on a Dean Koontz kick for a couple of months, borrowed several from the library and read through them all and now I'm rereading a few that I own. I liked this book a lot and didn't find it nearly as disturbing as "The Taking". Nor did I find it as chilling as "The Bad Place". I consider this one of my favorites and need to go and buy myself a copy.
