Just then a guy came painting through the trees. He was tired and hungry and beat up. He collapsed on the ground.

Dane jumped at the loud crashing noise nearby. He looked around and saw the fallen person. Hesitantly, he went over and crouched down next to the figure, shaking his shoulder as gently as he could. "...Hello?"
Hero was losing consciousness. He managed to mumble "i. Hate. Those. white. Coats" Before he blacked out
Dane let out a sigh. "Don't we all buddy. Don't we all."
He contemplated what he was about to do for a second, then struggled to pull the unconscious person up, slinging his arm around his neck and dragging/carrying him back to the camp. He was very aware of the looks he was getting from the others.

(fast forward.)~an hour later~
Hero woke up. He looked around. Where was he again? What was going on? He couldn't remember. He went over what he knew. I am Hero Cloud. Check. I am a tiger freak. Check. I am....... Don't know. Uncheck. I was in a lab, check. When I was there I..... Don't know. Uncheck. I.....escaped? Uncheck. He got up again.
Dane sat up straight, not too long before he heard a rustling from the inside of the tent.
"Are you awake?" He called to him, resisting the urge to open the tent flap. He knew that the guy was about to go for it.
"Are you awake?" He called to him, resisting the urge to open the tent flap. He knew that the guy was about to go for it.
When he got no response, Dane spoke again like the pest he was. "You said something about White Coats earlier. What do you know about them?" Dane had a strong feeling that this guy was an experiment like the rest of them were. But that wasn't something you could just assume.
Hmmm whit coats.... What did he know about white coats. He remembered them pointing needles into him but that's it. "they are mean." he said
Dane let out a laugh. "Well, yeah, I guess you're right." He glanced at the tent, "You okay? You looked a little beat up when I first saw you."
"this may sound weird but.., I'm part tiger and there this lab.... Actuly I don't remember much but.... And I think I escaped..,,,, I really don't know..,,but uhh thanks." he said taking his hat off revealing his cat like ears,
"Cool," he said, grinning. Dane got up and rummaged around in Kristi's backpack for a first aid kit.
Hero raised an eye brow in suspicion. "you seem to be taking it well....." he said. "are you one of the white coats?" he said kinda of scared as his ears pulled back.
Dane's smile vanished and his eyes went wide. "Hell no." Through the slits in his shirt, Dane let his wings slide out, careful not to fill up the entire tent.
Hero sighed in releif. "cool trick."he said. "guess that means I don't have to hide my tail anymore." he let his tail out and waved it around.
Dane's grin returned as he pulled out the first aid kit. "That's right. Now, where are you hurt?" He clicked open the with plastic box, fingers at the ready..
"No, really?," Dane said, pulling out some disinfectant wipes, somewhat confident that he should do this part first. "Erm, if you would just..."
"I got it." he said taking the disinfecting thing and rubbing it on his shoulder and arms wincing in pain. " so are you.... All like that?"
Dane nodded. "Yep. I think you're the only one who doesn't have wings though," he said, pulling out some neosporin, cotton balls, and gauze.
"Nah, don't be." Dane applied some neosporin to the cotton balls, then held the out to Hero. "Put this on your biggest wound. I'll put the gauze on top of it when you do."
He put it on his shoulder taking a look at the wound...it looked like a bullet wound... How did he get that? He didn't know... "
Dane was completely oblivious to Hero's concerned look and started to wrap his shoulder up as tightly as he could. "It should start to heal in a week or so."
Dane shrugged, "No idea. I'm guessing a national forest or something." How did he get hear anyway? He couldn't remember, and this caused him to frown ever so slightly.
"Always. It's just something that we're always unconsciously doing. Like breathing." Dane ripped the gauze from the roll, tucking the end neatly away. "There. You're good to go."
Dane rubbed his short, blond hair. In the winter it turned brown, and even now he noticed it was getting into a dried mud color. Snow was around the corner. "Well, we're all on the same side aren't we? And everyone's safer in numbers..." He sighed and shrugged. "You can stay if you want. I bet Kristi and the others wouldn't mind. It's up to you."
Hero thought for a moment. Where was he gonna go anyway? "ok thanks. I'll do whatever you guys say promise." he said smiling showing his fangs.
Hero got up and walked out of the tent. "I'll just sleep outside" he said as he spiun around acouple times and curled up next to s tree then fell asleep.
"Who is that?" Kristi asked. "I can hear a new voice! And feel a difference in the air...someones filing up more space then we usually take...anyways...Dane you want any french toast?"
Dane nodded, calling out to her as he exited the tent. "Yeah, french toast sounds good." He went over to where she was standing, rustling the leaves on the ground so that Kristi could hear him approaching.
"And the new voice you're hearing is another experiment." He spoke more quietly this time. "You don't mind if he joins us, do you?"
"And the new voice you're hearing is another experiment." He spoke more quietly this time. "You don't mind if he joins us, do you?"
"Mmm!" Jax smiled, "French toast!" As she looked toward the new guy, she wondered "Who's that?" she thought out loud.
"Recently escaped experiment," Dane said. "Like us, but without wings. You're gonna have to find out his name on your own."
"Oh," she looked down. She knelt to the ground to get a better look at a wriggling bug. "Poor little guy," she said. With a flick of her wrist, the crushing pebble was removed from the ant's body, as the insect escaped to freedom. As she stood up, she brushed her hands off, "Ahh," she sighed, "Another innocent life saved."
"Oh. no I don't mind. Thanks for the leaf rustling...it helps..." She said quietly to Dane. "You want french toast?" She asked Hero. "I need to know how much I'm making." She tapped her cane in front of her and tryed to get to the tent. Once she did she got Jay's food bowl out of her baf.
"Okay." She fed Jay quickly. Then she started making breakfast. She looked confused at the burner. "How is this...I usually can turn it on...Oh! It's backwards! I got it now." She walked to the other sided of it and heated it up. She cooked everything and put it om plates. She handed a plate to each of them.
Hero ate his toast. "that is good thank you." he said eating the toast and he accidentally took a bight out of the plate. "oh.... Im srry......" he said and frowned.
