Savita glanced over her shoulder one last time, a mistake that would prove near fatal. "Keep running," she whispered.

A loud snarl erupted from directly behind Savita, and her eyes widened and she threw herself into the air behind Pyro, though her wingtips clipped the edges of the building.

Savita hissed in a breath of pain as her arm slammed into something, and her flying stuttered to a halt, and she dropped a few feet. Surging back upwards, it was too late. A clawed hand closed around her ankle, and she let out a short shriek.

Pyro swerved, and immediately dropped down to Savita, hands completely lit.

Jacob snarled, glaring at Pyro intensly, not a flicker of recognition in his eyes.
Savita shook her head at the fire. "Don't," she said quietly. Twisting her ankle, she glanced down at the Eraser. "Jacob, it's me, Savita. C'mon, Jake. It's Savvy, calm down," she said, but a hint of panic was evident.

The Eraser looked at her blankly, claws digging into her skin.

Jacob blinked slowly, glancing down at his hand, still clamped around her ankle. With a start, he pulled back, eyes wide.
"Oh, shit..." he trailed off, morphing back. Thankfully, the reversal was a lot easier and less painful.

Pyro chewed her cheek. "We found the exit." She said, her tine semi-optimistic.

Jacob blinked again, rubbing a (now de-furred) hand across his eyes, looking quite shaken up.

Pyro rummaged through her backback, taking out a map of the city. "Clinic.....clinic......clinic! Western Ave. or Irving Park........" She murmured to herself.

Pyro ignored them, glancing at a nearby street sign. "The vicinity is there, if we go... no, too out in the open...... but if we took that detour......" P,leased with her discovery, she folded her map and stuffed it in her backpack. "A quarter mile that way!" She said, pointing due north.

Pyro smied. "Cool." She said as she marched up the area where the underground had opened at. "I'll try not to kill us all."

Jacob sighed angrily, throwing an arm around her shoulders and pulling her against him. Both looked rather embarassed, and quite furious with Pyro.

I'm gonna kill her for this, Savita thought, a dark glare on Pyro's back.
