Taking a deep breath, Jacob began the morph, gritting his teeth against the pain. Most Erasers didn't experience so much as a twinge, but they had experimented on him one too many times.

Scarlett got a weird feeling, as if every hair on her neck was standing up. She looked for the source of this feeling just as a bullet whizzed past her head. "Shit."

Stella spun around at the loud sound of the gun, letting loose her own creative expletives. "Not again," she muttered, reaching for her gun again. They did say they would be in touch, she thought grimly. She hadn't expected a full-on attack, though. Stella counted a little half a dozen Erasers at first glance. In the air, they would usually have the advantage. But not when all six of the thugs were armed.

At the sounds, Savita stirred, blinking her eyes open. Hardly moments passed before she gasped, backing up at the sight.
