The lemur leaned into her hand, almost like a cat wanting to be pet.

A wide grin spread across her face, and she carefully stroked the lemur's head, laughing quietly.

Pyro watched the lemur with a grin, unzipping the front of the backpack and pulling out a bag of extra spicy beef jerky. "Okay, I lied. I do have something edible in here."
The lemur climbed up Savita like she was a tree, stopping at her shoulder. It continued to munch on its dried fruit.

Savita was still laughing, twitching slightly. It tickled.
Jacob shook his head irritably. What was he staring at? It was just a lemur.

The lemur stayed on Savita's shoulder, her expression pleased with her new perch.
Pyro opened the bag of beef jerky and muched on it. She stood up. "Wanna piece?" She asked, offering Jacob the open bag. He was kinda staring dumbly at the lemur, and she figured he might want something else to do besides collect dust.

Jacob blinked at her, blindly accepting a piece.
Savita grinned up at the lemur, reaching a hand up towards it tentatively.

The lemur eyed her hand innocently. It made a wierd chittering noise, then started to nibble on a raisen.

Savita laughed, running her fingers through its fur.
Jacob glanced over at Pyro. "The meds?" he mouthed, nodding to Savita.

Stella didn't have to wait to watch Scarlett to catch the first thief; she heard him being knocked down a few seconds later. Instead, she focused on the second one, who was still in a full sprint away even though his accomplice was gone from beside him. What a great guy, Stella thought. Doesn't bother to look back for his friend. Just wants to save his own ass. It reminded her too much of some of the people she used to hang out with.

Effortlessly, she caught up with him. When she did, still running, she pulled out the gun she kept handy on her belt and jammed it into the back of his neck. She forced him to a stop, making sure he couldn't turn around to take a look at his attacker.

"Drop your weapon and put your hands on the ground!" she ordered in a loud, booming voice. She smirked as the boy quickly obeyed, dropping his gun and shakily lowering to the ground. Stella looked back at Scarlett and gave her a thumbs up with her free hand. Then she glanced back down at the guy. "You're under arrest," she added in the same voice for good measure.

Scarlett flashed a smile, pressing her foot down harder on her guy's chest as he tried to squirm away. Seeing the gathering crowd of people take out their phones, she said. "The squad car should be here in a few," then gave a solute of sorts. "That was a nice chase, Officer Wright."

Savita glared at them for a moment, but it melted quickly, and she sighed exasperatedly. "Sure, sure."

"Right back atcha, Officer Carter," Stella responded, not missing a beat. As she reached down to pick up the guy's gun, he glanced over at her for a second.

"Hey, you're not--" he started.

Stella stood back up and kicked him in the side. When he was swearing quietly and gasping for breath, she leaned down again and whispered in his ear sweetly, "Wanna repeat that?"

Pyro smiled. "Yeah. Her name is Red. Kinda lame name, but I though her eyes were cool."

Scarlett laughed a little as the criminal went pale. She almost forgetting about the person under her foot. That is, until he grabbed her ankle. She glared down at him, "Try it."

Faintly, she heard police sirens wailing. She was sure that Stella heard too, and said, "Should we wait for them?

Savita grinned, standing up and keeping a careful hold on Red.

Pyro held out her hand to the lemur. "You done with your frut." The lemur handed Pyro its baggie. "Good girl." Pyro took the baggie and put t back in the pocket where t had originally been in, along wth her beef jerky. She rolled up the lemur's backpack and stuffed it in her other backpack. "Alright. All set."

Stella glanced behind her, hearing the sirens as well. Was waiting for the police to show up the smart thing to do? Probably not, since she was most likely on the wanted list by now (at least, she liked to think so). But doing the "smart" thing got boring after a while. "Sounds good," she replied to Scarlett with a smile.
