Jacob frowned, narrowing his eyes up at them. From this distance, he couldn't hear them.

Pyro pursed her lips. "If it helps.... I wasn't just a normal lab rat. I was kept in inception my entire life. They used my blood for genetic testings, then reinjected it to see the outcome. However, it wasn't entire inception. I couldn't move, but I could, hear, could-" She winced. "-Feel everything. My entire life was spent without being able to even move. Then one day there was a malfunction with the anesthetics. I managed to escape."
