Savita stood up slowly, returning the phone to her pocket. Taking a deep breath, she unfurled her wings and shot into the air, rocketing upwards.

Pyro was surprised at Savita's sudden speed, but then remembered that during most of the chase, she had been keeping her wings furled. Note to self: Older bird kids need bigger areas.

Stella glanced back up in time to see Scarlett's look. "Lovely, ain't it?" she said jokingly. "Looks like one of those cliche, sunny neighborhoods a zombie movie would be shot at." She tried to decide where the best place was to land among the identicle houses. The small alleyway between each house? The roof, maybe? The street was too exposed to land in. She circled around, zooming in on each house number to find the correct one.
