Savita and Jacob watched her go wordlessly.
Finally, Savita broke the silence. "'Mrs.?" she said, disgruntled.
Jacob snickered slightly, but shook his head. "She may have a point...But..."
Savita sighed, shrugging. "Maybe she does." Or maybe she nailed it.
He looked up at the sky. "I don't think you'd kill me before Pennsylvania. Maybe New York."
"And you wouldn't kill me before Virginia?"
He laughed faintly. "Nah. But I think it's time I told you everything."

Sitting down next to each other, Jacob finally fumbled through what he had told Pyro, Savita remaining silent all the while. Half an hour later, she looked up at him when he finished. "Thank you," she simply said.
Jacob smiled wanly, resting his arm over her shoulder. "Didn't know what else to do," he mumbled as she slid closer to him.
