Jacob sat down besides her, watching her carefully. His eyes widened slowly as she began to speak, but he remained quiet, letting her finish.

A sob escaped her lips, and she buried her face in his shirt. Tears streamed down her face, but she clung to the front of his shirt with an weak, almost desperate grasp.

She didn't know how long she cried for, but she knew it wasn't a short amount of time. She finally wiped her eyes, which widened with realization. "Shite." she jerked back. "I am so sor-"
