((Should we wait for J.D and Rachel?)) "Can't wait! Okay which way do we run guys?" Spencer said enthusiastically.
"What the heck are you guys waiting for??" She called at the other mutants behind her. "Run!!!" At this time Lithos knew what was about to happen. She ran to the computer lab where she knew she'd find Skye and Spencer. Looking behind her she saw that all the other mutants had flown the coop except Jordan and a few other birdkids who were following them. When she finally reached the lab, the alarm when off.
Skye followed, grinning at Lithos as she did. They were so close, she could almost taste freedom.
Extending her wings, Lithos flew to the exit door. The next thing she saw was a beautiful blue sky. She flew up into the sunlight enjoying it's warmth as her feathers ruffled. She could hear the barks of the eraser's dogs beneath her, but she didn't care. They were free, they were safe.Suddenly, her body felt as hot coals. Lithos's vision began to blur and she began to fall from the sky. The last thing she remembered seeing was that boy with the beautiful green eyes.
((Got really hot... Uh... :D Sorry, I found it funny))
"Lithos!" Skye screamed, stopping mid-air. It had felt really good to get into the sky. She stopped beating her wings, and dived downwards to Lithos' falling body. Had she been shot?

((hahah)) The next thing she knew, she was lying on the grass in a forest. Her back was still burning. She reached her hand behind her to find out that it had been bandaged. This was no gunshot. Lithos knew what that felt like, but that's another story.
"Skye?" she mumbled as she sat up.
((Spencer was going to save Lithos... oh well))
"Lithos? Are you awake?" Skye asked. She'd told the other bird-kids to stay a little back, give Lithos some space.

"Dude you just fell out of the sky randomly..." Spencer said folding in his wings, landing smoothly on the grass.
"Spencer grabbed you but couldn't hold you much longer, so I brought you down here. I don't know what happened," Skye frowned. "Does anything hurt?"
"I don't think so, broken bones don't usually bleed, do they?" Skye frowned. "And besides, you didn't do anything weird to it before you started to fall, did you?" Skye asked.
"Well if the bone pierced throught the skin yes then it would bleed..." Spencer said softly. "But I don't think that happened...Maybe you just hit your back on something..."
"When you fell on the ground, Duh!" Spencer said sarcasticly! "It's not like I flew into a tree when trying to save your butt..."
Jordan starged out of the cage, watching as the others left. Every part of her body was aching, the pain soon making her see spots. She focased on the only way she knew to make it out of there conscious. Go and don't stop. 30 seconds was all she had. Jordan ran as fast as she could toward the exit, hopping everyone else was there too. She was almost there when she heard a small wimper from a cage somewhere in the smog. Although it was faint, she could tell ot was nearby. Before she really had time to think about it, she was already running toward the sound, trying to make out exactly where it was coming from. It was by chance she glanced over and saw a little kid, no older than 6, lying down in her cage, tears rolling down her cheeks. Jordan quickly began to pull on the metal as hard as she could, past the point where her muscles were screaming at her to stop. Finally the door gave in and the hinges came off cleanly. "Come on!" She yelled, fear finnally begining to sink in. When the girl didn't move and just stared at her, Jordan grabbed her arm, held her tightly in her arms and took off for the door. But she calculated her odds of getting there before the smoke cleared up, and no matter how many varibles she used, every time theawnser came back slim to none. And Jordan didn't like those chances.
"ughh," lithos looked around, tired of Spencer's sarcasm, when she noticed Jordan wasn't anywhere to be found. "um, Skye? Where's Jordan?"
((sorry went on a short holiday =D))
"I don't know," Skye said, guilt sinking in. She shoved a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "It was just so chaotic I really don't know what happened. I'm just hoping she got out alright. For now, we need to tend to your back, in case Erasers come. Then we can go find Jordan, OK?"

"Good," Skye whispered to Lithos. "I kinda need to, um, expose your back to make it better and from up there he won't be able to see." She raised her voice to a call. "See anything, Spencer?"
"Good, good," Skye muttered to herself. "The only thing not normal in the landscape is Spencer himself." She shot a look up at the trees, hoping Spencer's 'super-hearing' wasn't that super.
"I didn't say anything," Skye replied. She glanced at Lithos. "I wish we had proper medical supplies."
"Guys...Flying erasers coming in fast!...So maybe just maybe be we should fly..." Spencer called out nevervously.
"Flying Erasers?" Skye looked up. On the horizon, where the School still made an ugly splotch were tiny specks in the sky. Skye swore quietly. "How many?" she called to Spencer. Maybe she and Spencer could fight them off. She wasn't sure if Lithos was in flying condition.
Skye closed her eyes momentarily. She was torn between flight and fight. On one hand, she couldn't see them being able to fly away. And 3, maybe 4 against 2? She wished they were just average bloodthirsty Erasers, as opposed to flying bloodthirsty Erasers. Maybe they'd have a chance then. Maybe they should try fleeing by foot.
"what?? I cant fly, not like this! Ughhhh why is it that my powers involve my wings?!? But," she looked up at where Spencer was standing, "Spencer! I can still kick! Just stall them long enough for Skye to look at my back!"
"Okay...Umm hey you stupid, furry, flying fridges! Come and get me!" Spencer yelled out then took off the branch, beating his wings hard. "You can't touch this!"
