Jordan saw what she was thinking."Exacly that. Someone dropped a bomb on these people. For something below the surface of this place." Jordan said, disgusted by the thought of them killing all these people for nothing.
"What's under the building?" Skye asked, frowning. She felt a little sick in the dusty building. The death in it seemed to be suffocating.
"Yeah, well, now it is." Jordan said in a whisper. She reached in her pocket and drew out her pencil and begain drawing on the blank side of her. She drew a memorail stone that stated "To the unmarked graves of those that lost thier lives here." She made it out of black marble, the top of it pointed like the Washington memorial. She drew the final line into the drawing and, poof, the gravestone appeared in the center of the town, glistening in the sunlight.
((i'm sorry!!!))"Come on guys, lets take that little girl to the police and come back here after nightfall," she pointed at a black and orange sign, "cause we're kinda trespassing on private property right now,"
Jordan was the last one off the proprety, her eyes surveying the sad scene. But the moment Jordan begain thinking against coming back here, a strong gust of wind blew, and she could've sworn she heard a young child whisper "Thank you." She shoke her head and flew back toward the group.
"Happy that you finally get to go home, Lucy?" Jordan said as she flew to the flailing child. Then she flew a little higher and whispered to Spencer. "Having a tough time there, Spencie?"
((It okay. We just need more posts! We're dieing over here, and we're almost 200-300 posts behind some of the other groups! We can't let that happen!))
((sorry, my moms had me workin outside))Lithos was the first to land, she ran toward the police station door. "come on guys!" and she walked inside.
"Sshhh," Skye whispered in Lithos' ear. She gave a small giggle. "Calm down, or the police'll think we're weirdoes or something." She held the door open for the others to enter, muttering to herself, "Well, we kinda are weirdoes, but whatever."
((.......))Jordan was the last to land, making sure that they weren't being trailed. When the coast was clear, Jordan followed the others into the station. It was just like you'ed expect, a bland room with carpet from the 80's and plastic chairs lining the white walls. The was a desk in the back wall, and sitting behind it was a snoring cop with a news paper covering his face. Jordan, loudly, cleared her throut so he could hear, and in a flurry of paper and flailing body parts, the cop ended up lying face down into the shag carpet. "I'm gonna guess things are pretty slow around here." Jordan said in her usual, sarcastic, way.
((Didn't you already get Miss & my complaints yet?))
"Everything perfect in Sunnyville, huh?" Skye asked, grabbing Lucy's hand. "All he needs is doughnuts," she muttered to Jordan.

((RCRC's on a family trip so she missed our school hiking trip - she wants us to send emails about it but we already have *rolls eyes*))
"Hope we don't meet any murderers out there; wouldn't want to put my trust in him to save us," Skye said. She let the man have a few seconds to compose himself and to regain a few particles of dignity before she thrust Lucy forward. She could feel the little girl trembling.

Lithos stepped forward, "we found this little girl wondering in the woods, she said she was lost and couldn't find her mom and dad,"
"Please be quick about it. We don't have all day, unlike some people." Jordan said, whispering the last part.
"Ummm yeah here," the policeman removed a few posters with donuts and pointed to a picture of a young girl, it looked just like Lucy. "The poster says here that there's a $3,000 reward. Here let me call her parents."
"Thanks." Jordan said, grabbing the poster. She read it throughaly, making sure they had the right girl just in case. It said:NAME: LUCY OLIVINIA
AGE:7 WHEN SHE WENT MISSING. NOW 9.
HOME:CARSON CITY,NEVADA
WENT MISSING IN: NOVEMBER,2006
PLEASE CALL THIS NUMBER IF YOU LEARN ANY INFORMATION ON HER WHERE ABOUTS......
REWARD!!!!!!
Lithos could hear Lucy's parents screaming for joy on the other end of the phone. The policeman hung up, "They're on there way,"
"Wow, she's been missing for a long time," Skye muttered. She looked down at Lucy. "Looking forward to going home?"
The officer replied to Jordan,"Well they don't live far away so about," Lithos heard a car door shut and pattering footsteps running to the door. "Now I guess,"
Jordan watched as a couple who looked just like Lucy run into the door like the ground wasn't even there. As soon as they caught sight of Lucy they yelled "LUCY!!!"And ran over to her, picked her up and squeezed. All three of them were crying hestericly, hugging each other, like a real family. That's when Jordan had to look away. She knew full well that she would never be able to have such a glorius reuion. Because although she didn't have every detail on how, when or even how, but she knew her parents were long dead.
Lithos was filled with pain, but she couldn't turn her head away, there was something hanging around the mother's neck. A dog tag. And not just a regular dog tag, but a whitecoet one. Lucy's mother had turned her over to the school, purposefully.
Jordan saw what Lithos was staring at and said instenctively "Mrs. and Mr.Olivinia, can I please have a word with you?" they nodded, leaned down to Lucy ro tell her they'ed be right back and begain walking outside to the back of the police station, where they could talk privetly. Jordan gave Skye and Lithos the come-on,I'm-gonna-need-your-help look and begain walking toward the back of the building too.
Skye was happy for Lucy, but the whole emotional thing wasn't really her scene. However she followed the others out.
Jordan walked back there, calculating all the things to say and all the things that could go wrong. Then she looked at Lucy's parents and saw thier eyes were blood shot from crying so much, but she could see worry behind the cover up, the kind of guilty look a criminal has when thier finnaly caught. That's when Jordan snapped. "How much did they give you?" Jordan said, her voice colder than ice.
((Yeah. Daylight savings has finished here. Darn.))
Skye realised with a shock what Jordan meant. She grabbed Lucy's hand and dragged her away. She didn't want Lucy to hear this.

"Don't kid yourself. We both know you sold her to those madmen for a bunch of junk change. But why would you do that to your own flesh and blood daughter? Look at me, I'm a freak! She was almost turned into a monster because you needed a little money. How could you be so selfish?" She said coldly and accusingly.
"It... it was our only choice..." Lucy's mother gave a small sob. Her father clenched his jaw and didn't say anything.
"What's happening?" Lucy asked.
"Nothing, sweetie," Skye said, wishing Jordan wouldn't speak so loud. "They must be talking about how to fit you in the car or something..."

Skye had been behind Lithos but now arrived at the old building. "What happened here?" she asked in surprise. Even though it was pretty obvious what had happened: some sort of bomb had exploded here.
