So, I looked for what I might be doing wrong in the manual but don't have time to peruse all the threads. Not letting me add series info correctly so just deleted and reentered this placeholder:

Trail of the Spellmans

Could somebody please add series info:

Actually, Beth, you need to add the book from the existing series page; if you just add the series from the book page you wind up creating a duplicate "Spellmans" series with only that one book in it. I added the new book to the existing series here:

I'd seen them but haven't really worked with series since it's evolved. Now, I feel confident enough to help with this. Very cool. Thanks. No wonder it wouldn't work for me; I was doing it the wrong way. At least I knew it and deleted my errors/book entries. Thanks!
