Melissa Sewell (lissaleone) | 1 comments Regarding the book "After the Leaves Fall" by Nicole Baart:

There are two Kindle editions listed, each with its own ASIN. It appears to me that the 2nd ASIN is correct (B004LLIPW4) as per Amazon. But can a Kindle book have more than one ASIN? I didn't want to combine the two if the first ASIN (B001DDIPZ0) is also valid, but I can find no record of it other than GR.

Thank you... Melissa

Cait (tigercait) | 5005 comments I think that sometimes Kindle books go "out of print" and are reissued with new ASINs, like new editions of print books. It's frustrating to have Amazon be the only site that lists ASINs of Kindle books, since there's no way to verify older Kindle editions, but we probably ought to keep them.

Yes. They can be reissued; they can be from different publishers (especially with out-of-copyright works); they can have different cover images; they can have slightly changed (edited) content.
