Why did Romeo and Benvolio decide to go to the party of their enemy, knowing they could possibly be killed?

I think that Romeo and Benvolio decided to go because of romeo's situation. They knew the only way for Romeo to stop loving rosaline was to find a knew girl, and the party was the best way to find one. Even though they knew it was a capulet party, the masks they were going to wear would hide their identities. I think Romeo and Benvolio felt it was a rsik worth taking.
