It always seemed that the computer would get to the point needed for something resembling Singularity before the biogenetics, but with the telomerase work that is being done now, it may be the other way around.

I'm still not going to getting any first-gen headware though. Let's hope the MPAA doesn't place restrictions on your headware that won't let you see IP you haven't licensed. I can see it now:

Cop: "Can you explain why you rear-ended that Mini-van?"
