hmm, i might be in - may see if i can get the audiobook though...something to listen to during my work commute
Awesome! No worries if you can't read it with me. :). Audiobook is a nice thought. Too bad I got it on my Kindle already :)
i'm sure I can get it for my kindle...for some reason my brain sees classics to read = sleep...lol! so if I can get them on audio all the betteranything published prior to 1923 you should be able to get for free because they are in public domain
Dee: My brain does that with just about all books lately, as I'm so tired. I didn't know that about the 1923 thing. Good info to know (:Robyn: That's good. I have never read anything by him either. Glad my powers kicked in :) LOL.
Just a reminder to everyone that this buddy read will start today...I will try to set it up so that it is a little slow. I will post the first assignment later tonight.
i picked the audiobook of this up at audible 4.95 sale today...but i already have line-up of books next (Huck Finn; the last book in the Stieg Larsson series)...although i could sub this for Huck, because i'm fairly sure its on the 1001 books to read before you die list
I started another Dicken's book- Martin Chuzzlewit, but maybe I'll put it to the side and read this one.
The more the merrier! I am going to do this one slow because I know that sometimes Dickens can be kind of hard to read at times.
Meghan: I'm telling you, I have to send you a gift card or something. You don't know how much I owe you for picking things up when I can't get online. Seriously, though, I think I will do that. Message me and we'll get something going. You deserve it!I hope everyone will enjoy this book! I will try to finish a couple and joing in ASAP. Happy Reading! :D
