Me: I'm writing out a short parable, because the makeup work policy apparently doesn't apply to when you have to go on a mandatory field trip that is for a grade.Confused?
Well, I went on the band field trip on Tuesday, which is now two days ago. Normally, my school's policy is that for every day that there is anexcused absence, you get 2 days to make up the work.
My teachers seem to have had amnesia when it came to this matter, so all my work is due tomorrow.

Me: A junior died today. He was brain dead after a horiffic accident in which so many stories were rumored about him. All I know is that he was a drug dealer or drug buyer. I think the former; the latter I heard from an unreliable source. He was found in his own neighborhood, lying in his own pool of blood, and today his parents decided to stop the life support.
Most of the people seem to agree on this story: that he got into a fight about owing money with drugs, and he got jumped and they beat him up fatally.
His neighborhhod is about to minutes away from my school, and my mom who works at my school, told me that we almost decided to live there.
Even though I didn't know the guy, I still cried.

It's normal to cry in situations like that. :/
Me: Yeah...They called all the junios to an assembly during fifth hour, which is my math class, and my ever so lazy math teacher called it a free period. I studied for my tes which was next hour, and I got pissed off when someone started mocking the death of the guy. I don't care if he was involved with drugs; you can never justify the death or the mocking of a death.
