Who's Caspar's model? Just a random Burberry model, ha. I met him AFTER finding his picture at a subway station downtown, actually. Gobsmacked for ten minutes straight.

Me: :D Do you have any tips for making accents and dynamics stand out on flute?
Me: Yes I do!!
...Are you asking how to crescendo/decrescendo though? Like can you be more specific? xD

Me: Yes, Sorry!
*goes to music* crescendo & decrecsendo, making accents harsh (tonguing Tricks? x3), and how to make going from metzo[piano/forte] to piano/forte more notable.

CRESCENDOS & DECRESCENDOS—
Mark different points on the music from the initial dynamics—ex if it starts at piano and crescendos to a ff, mark a mp, f, and ff at strategic points from the piano to the forte. Work to maintain those points, so crescendoing little by little. If it’s all at once, like in a bar or two, just gradually blow harder. Don’t start off blowing out all the air you’ve got. For decrescendo, same logic applies but gradually blow softer.
ACCENTS—
Blow really really really really hard. But not high enough to skip an octave. ;) And remember to go back to normal volume after the accent.
GOING FROM MP/F TO P/F
I cheat for this—I play the MP really loudly then go dramatically softer for P (same blowing rules as de/crescendos). My teachers don’t mind as long as you blow noticeably softer/harder.
Hope I helped!!

Me: roar. Practiced piano. Played 20th Century. Octaves in both hands. G octave in right, F octave in left, right next to each other, then D octave in RH, C octave in LH. ;-;
Me: Yippee! The WP doesn't like being hated! ^_^
Me: Nothin' much, just being happy.
Me: Yeah. Well first I had it normally written then someone showed me how to write upside down, so... ta-da!!!
Me: Let me see if I can fix that..
Me: You can't fix it.. Oh well.
Me: Cool. I probably need to update Cameron's profile.
Me: I don't think I have updated it since the new summer started, besides his picture, anyway.
