That was the only sonnet I've ever written. And it was HARD.

Sam: Abd now...?
Me: I feel pretty stupid. But, he's the first teacher to explain it right or even MENTION the um... We'll just say the rythm of poetry. He was like "blah, blah, blah," and I was like, "OMFG *lightbulb!*

Oh yeah. And Aaron wants to go out sometime. Eh.

But I edited the syllables of my poem, now he's gonna help me with the stress (maybe).

Xeena: *sing-song voice* Jack, you are so special!! The depressed camper just came up to you and begged for you to be his friend! Aren't you so lucky?!

It's our starting piece. ^^

;-; So I didn't get the solo for Panther in the Sky. Well, I can't do everything. It's kind of a let down, though.

Me: I FLIPPED OUT WHEN I SAW IT.

HEY.

message 11025: by Moon (new)

Moon (moonstonesandbooks) | 3694 comments Me: IKR? In the first few seconds of the trailer, Lily and Petunia were shown in the scene with the flower that started moving. I hope that they don't change it too much from the book.

HEY!

Btw, Van, you're an amazing flute player, and because you are made up of awesome, you had an awesome overload, and you scared your band director into shock. That's what Nerdfighter do to ordinary people.

message 11026: by [deleted user] (new)

Me: I know.

HOW BE YOU?

Well, I'm working this summer so I can pay for private flute lessons. I mean, I just love playing to much and want to improve. ^^ It's so much fun and I just love it.
Thanks, but he didn't choose the player. xD Some random band director from another school did.

message 11034: by Moon (new)

Moon (moonstonesandbooks) | 3694 comments Me: I know that this is random, and I may have asked this before, but I ask anyways. Have you read the Lord of the Flies?

message 11035: by [deleted user] (new)

Me: DON'T SPEAK OF THAT BOOK. IT SHOULD NOT BE READ IN MIDDLE SCHOOLS.

But, yeah, this year, I did.

message 11036: by Moon (new)

Moon (moonstonesandbooks) | 3694 comments Me: Really? LOL. I'm reading it now for English Honors, but I'm a freshgirlmen. The most controversial books that I read in middle school were To Kill A Mockingbird and The House on Mango Street, along with Fahrenheit 451.

message 11037: by [deleted user] (new)

Me: It's not funny. It's f/cked. o.O

I be an 8-y grader. :P

message 11038: by Moon (new)

Moon (moonstonesandbooks) | 3694 comments mE: I kinda like it. However, yes, it is a f/cked book.

I thought you were a seventh grader. o.O

Ugh, the book has some disturbing scenes, though. When they killed the sow, do you know what it symbolized?

message 11039: by [deleted user] (new)

Me: e.e I dun like it.

O.O Noooooooooooo....

YES I DO EW WTF. >,<

message 11040: by Moon (new)

Moon (moonstonesandbooks) | 3694 comments Me: I kinda like it because some of the characters are so naive and innocent, but unfortunately, they bend to the will of Jack. That's kinda sad. It's like if, say Anfisa and Zac, were thrown to the mercy of either Drake or Leena or Evander(?) and so many others.

I could have sworn that when we first chatted, you said that you were in seventh grade. o.O

EWWW TO THE MILLIONTH POWER. WTF. IT HAS A DISTURBING MEANING.

message 11041: by [deleted user] (new)

Me: Hmmm, he's questionable. xD

O-O Last year...?

I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW. >,< Some kid's mom complained.

message 11042: by Moon (new)

Moon (moonstonesandbooks) | 3694 comments Me: Who? If you mean Evander, then yes.

Last year? I joined the group on Novemer 22. That was lest year, yes, but it is the same school year.

Someone complained? My school is the opposite. They're always pushing us to read banned books. In middle school, I remember that we had a banned books week where veryone had to read a banned book.

message 11043: by [deleted user] (new)

Me: Yes I did. XD

Maybe it was Kat or Frege...?

O.O Wtf.
At my school, kids don't care about school. Except for the GT kids.

message 11044: by Moon (new)

Moon (moonstonesandbooks) | 3694 comments Me: Speaking of questionable people, here's Jack and Ralph from the 1963 film version doing something questionable. At least, it looks questionable. xDDD

Maybe it was either one.

GT? Well, my school is really competetive with grades because there isn't anything else to really compete for. We have uniforms, so it's not like we can judge people on what they wear.

message 11045: by [deleted user] (new)

Me: ...'Nuff said.

GT = Gifted & Talented. I've been part of the program since 2nd grade.

The GT kids are what gives our school the best music program, great test grades, and all that. WE'RE the competitive ones, while the others laze around and talk about pointless things/

message 11046: by Moon (new)

Moon (moonstonesandbooks) | 3694 comments Me:
xDDD

Oh. Cool. My teachers never decided to test me until fifth grade, and I passed the test, but my parents were kinda pissed off because I had been getting straight A's and high scores on standardized tests (up until that point).

Ah. I get it. My school system has four elementary schools located throughout my city, and one of the elementary schools combines with another to form one of our two middle schools, along with the other two elementary schools. Both our middle schools combine to make our high school. I know that seems random, but I went to one of the two middle schools, and my middle school was the one with high grades, in academics, while the other one was high in music.
