Me: Sil, you depend on him too much. Rumours are going to be rumours. There've been rumours around that I've blown the student teacher for music and done other things with other teachers and girl's boyfriends. None of which are true. Just stop talking to him, especially if he's such a douchebag ('it's ok if you have a crush on me' <-- SERIOUSLY?!) and try finding someone else. Tip: Don't try depending on someone. Get a friend that you can support and who supports you. You're not a horrible writer, please don't think that.
And don't say you hate your life. >.< It's just so wrong to think that way and delude yourself into thinking that you do.

Ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh. I'm sick of violin, but I want to like it, because it will make my parents happy, I won't be the scab on my orchestra, and everybody will be happy.

Me: That's the trouble. I like a million pieces. I love Bach. Haendel. Mussogorsky. But...when I play them by heart, my brothers cup their ears and yell at me to stop. That's when I realize I'm seriously not meant for this.

Me: XD You should.
And I wish I could play piano as good as every other person in my conservatory. Yeah. I know what you're talking about. I wish I could play "Flight of the Bumblebee", which I have the sheet music for, but don't have the hand size for.

Me: Jo, where I go, a girl is composing hundreds of scores for not just piano, but for orchestra. She's sending in one of her orchestral pieces to the LAPhil and has the possibility of having them play her piece. A boy in my class has played two Hungarian Rhapsodies (2 and 6). Another boy is playing a piece from Planet Earth. I see them virtually ever school day. I hear them play. Those are just three people.
You need to focus when you practice. Create a story for your piece. If its Baroque, imagine it for a church or something similar. They're dances. Play them as if you're dancing to it. Classical, articulate clearly. Romantic. Filled with Program Music. Make it tell a story. Create a story and portray it through music. Twentieth Century. Avant-garde. Rhythmatic. Make sure it's steady. Make sure its sharp.

I want to. I'm Catholic. But I feel like the church has to by created out of a pen, not a bow.
And basically the reason I want to like violin is to not let anyone down, and not make a fool of myself.

Me: Bai Silvy. D:
I go to school where so many people go to Ivy League. I have a friend who recently got accepted to Harvard. *sigh*

Me: You are blowing off what I am trying to tell you. When you play, FOCUS. Even the smallest distractions take away from your playing. Your critics only critique you because they care, although it may not seem like it.

And, yes, the orchestra director points at ME every time I mess up because she cares about me. I'll believe you.

Me: Because she wants you to get better, not because she wants people to ridicule you.
I've gotten the same lecture four times from four different people, one of whom is playing at Carnegie Hall for the second time and is currently in New York, preparing to play. Trust me when I say that I know what I'm talking about.
