Char (CharmaineElaine) Twitter jail is exactly what Hayley said. I was devastated!!! I really was...

Eeew! Pigeon imprint...

Awww, bless Arie. That is so adorable of him! What a man! I hope the hospital goes well and it's nothing serious!

message 952: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Okay, so I'm maybe going to Oulton Park to watch BTCC next year. I'm thinking of going with a list of dares... You know and then there'll be some interesting pics to post when I get back. You have 8 months to plan lol and don't make them all TOC based.

message 953: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Random's been quiet recently... that's a shame. Need to think of something random...

message 954: by Hayley (new)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Watching Educating Essex (recorded last night) and feeling nothing but hate towards the 2 girl bullies - thank god mobiles became a big thing after I left my first school :P

message 955: by Hayley (new)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Alrighty - I have sausages, bacon, black pudding, baked beans and eggs (ready to be fried) with coffee & orange juice - now if only my flat had an outdoor bit for me to enjoy this wonderful fry up ;P

How is everyone this fine, lovely Saturday?

message 956: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) I'm okay. We had an exciting moment where the cat escaped. :O He's back now! The new fence came in very handy for Mischief catching! xD

message 957: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) I'm waiting for quali (come on TOC) so then when it's finished I can type up this review I have. :) Reading like a dunno what right now. :)

message 958: by Hayley (new)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) I was planning on reading but got the complete series of 'Time Gentlemen Please' in the mail this morning so am now laughing away to Al Murray :P

Also sorted out gerbils, done cleaning, cooking etc etc so am going to relax this evening with a friend and a bottle of Rose :D

message 959: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Have I mentioned that I'm going to Silverstone? Cuz I am. In 2 weeks! BTCC finale here I come!

message 960: by Jeshu (new)

Jeshu (jeshusauria) Congratulations, Char!!

message 961: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) I know!!!! I might meet TOC!!! That's my mission.

message 962: by Jeshu (new)

Jeshu (jeshusauria) I hope you can accomplish it!!!

message 963: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) I do too!!! There'll be pics if I do!!!

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Char wrote: "I do too!!! There'll be pics if I do!!!"

Char, whatever you do - DO NOT try to run off with him ;P

message 965: by Hayley (new)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Hmmm, my neighbour's always seem to be having blazing rows that end up with the guy being locked out and screaming to be let in (now if only her name was Stella ;P) and it only happens later at night - which sucks.

To top it off there was a guy about 10-ish walking down the street loudly shouting a racist word as he went - I did not need to hear that before going to sleep >:(

Aww, Hayley, sounds like you live in a not so desirable area. My bro had neighbours like that last year - one night he ended up having to call the police it got so bad. :(

Bad words are "cool" now. We get them here too, but thankfully most of them go over my head.

I dunno if this word could ever be cool - it was rather racist (it was the name of the toy used to advertise marmalade over here a long time ago).

Yeah, I don't know sometimes if I should call the police or just leave it in case I'm overestimating things, they always seem to be better in the morning :S

Hahaha!!! I'll TRY NOT to. It'll be a test of my self control. I think you're right... I'll wait until next year before I come back to Wales with TOC as my souvenir. ;P

message 969: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Just randomly, I know I get a lot of stick for my love of TOC but his team (Team Aon) love the hashtags we made. They said use them at Silverstone. (Have I mentioned that I'm going there? (view spoiler))

message 970: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) So... anyone doing anything interesting... because I'm not doing much and I'm pretty bored.

message 971: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) So... I just thought you'd like to know which drivers we're planning to meet at Silverstone.

Tom Chilton
Andy Neate
Gordon Shedden
Frank Wrathall
James Nash
Paul O'Neill (maybe)

There's another guy, but I've forgotten his name! Anyone care to help me out? :P

Surely you mean Tom Onslow-Cole??? There's a hyphen in there.

message 975: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Indeed it is. You will not spell his name wrong! Ever!

message 976: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) I'VE BOUGHT MY TICKET! XD IT WILL ARRIVE TOMORROW! YES IT DOES WARRANT CAPS LOCK USAGE!

message 977: by Hayley (new)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) WOO!! Way to go you! I love how you insist on the hyphen in Tom's name! I shall never write it fully, just in case, from now on he shall be Tom or TOC (teehee, Tic Toc... sorry)

message 978: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) I know! Well, the hyphen's meant to be there... Haha! That's right I'll point it out if you don't use the hyphen. :P He's always been Tom or TOC or the really fit one from Team Aon I think the last one's just me though. :P (Noooo! Don't be doing that joke! It's rubbish).

I dunno, I think it's funny considering I'm half asleep still ;D So how many pics are you going to be taking then :D

message 980: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) I'm still half asleep and I didn't think it was funny... imagine if I'd been fully awake... Many, many pictures. Probably millions. :P Seriously, I'm gonna take as many pics as I can. :D

message 981: by Hayley (new)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Okay, fine.
Have fun then.

message 982: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Lol, I'm fussy when it come to jokes. I did lol at the comment you wrote after the joke. :) I'll have lots and lots of it. :D

message 983: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) An update on Silverstone:

I have bought travel sickness pastilles and batteries. On the way home this convo happened:

Me: "I shall take a picture of my Silverstone supllies of travel sickness thingimajigs and batteries and put it on Twitter."

Dave: "Why are you taking batteries?"

Mum: "CAMERA!"

Me: "Why do people keep asking me the same questions? Do you expect my camera to see Tom Onslow-Cole and just take pics of him automatically? Am I the only person that thinks that having spare batteries is a good idea? Am I living in a world of fools?"

(I won't lie to you, I got a bit dramatic. I thought the batteries were obvious. I mean the last thing I want to happen is it dies just as the pic is being taken. I've thought it through... for once.)

I dunno what's up with me but I'm back to being completely drained with no ability to concentrate on anything at all. :(

Oh and my knee hurts, stupid knee, how dare it? >.<

message 985: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Sorry, I write a lot of random rubbish in this topic (Good job it's called random :P)but on the 16th October it will be exactly a year since I got my tattoo. Oh and I'll be celebrating that milestone at Silverstone! :P (I had to get it in there lol.)

message 986: by Hayley (new)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Wow, I can't remember the date I got my tattoo (I had recently turned 18 tho'!) See if you can get Tom to acknowledge it somehow if it's in an appropriate area ;D

I would just like to take a moment to boast - I am in love with my cooking, flat smells as nice as my dinner tastes (sneaking bites, from the pan - I live alone, who cares!):P

message 987: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Lol, I only know this because I was on a weekend away in Bolton ... (of all the places to go on a weekend away lol). Okay, I will try my best, it's on my orearm so it should be easy enough. :D

Lol, hmmmm.... I may have to move in with you. :P My house smells like ready meals. :(

message 988: by Hayley (new)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Ah, I see, I knew I'd gone over to Belfast for the day for some shopping as that's where I got it done... but went over there so much I dunno :S

Oh that's lucky then, shouldn't be too difficult :)

You can, but I do stick to a handful of main dishes only & they're all ones that are almost one-pot only to minimse washing up :D

message 989: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Haha. That's kinda funny and a shame at the same time. I'd be sad if I didn't remember when I had it done. :A October's a lucky month for me... a lot of good stuff seems to happen to me in October.

Unless it's freezing... then I'll have to figure something out... :)

That's fine... I'll even wash up, if you're willing to only have Fairy washing up liquid. :P I have sensitive skin. I don't do the washing up normally so that's quite an offer! :D

Wow, I'll take you up on that - I only buy Fairy :D How does thai green chicken (and new potato) curry sound tonight then ;D Just need to wait for the rice to boil now... so long :S

I'm sure you'll figure something out - it doesn't need to be displayed the entire time, just when he's about :D

I remember getting it done, just not the date - but we had a fun time :D Can I keep you around as a lucky charm for October then ;P

message 991: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Awesome! What coincidence! :D It sounds like a marvellous opportunity to broaden my culinary horizons. :P Gutted, I hate it when something takes longer than everything else.

This is true... I'll just randomly go up to him and wave... using the tattooed arm... that would work. It would work very well. :P

Lol, the date's on my calendar. I've been thinking about it for the past couple of days and looked it up! :D Sure, I'll hang around for every day except the 16th. :P

message 992: by Hayley (new)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Haha, thought it might be ;) I have my parents to thank for my culinary skills - they're both chefs :P

I think it'd work, he should notice it! If not, stick it in front of his face :D

Ah, I wish I could go back and look up that date, it'd be interesting to know (I can tell you the date I finally told my mum I had one - it was over dinner on my birthday about 4 years after!)

Bumping into the convo here, I remember the night (it was like midnight when I got it done!) I got my tattoo as well cuz it was the same day my relationship started. =D

I'm trying to get Char to consider eating raw sliced meat (Italian style!) as part of her broadening of her culinary horizons, Hayley. My house smells of chicken stir fry... my bf looked at it and said "where's the sauce?" and I'm like "I can't eat sauces atm and you know it." So then he went and hunted around in the kitchen until he found a sweet n sour sauce he doesn't even like and redid all of his in that. My cooking feels appreciated. Sarcasm.

message 994: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) It is the best brand though. :P My brother's a trained chef. He can't cook though. :S

Lol! I can imagine that "TOM, TOM, DO YOU LIKE MY TATTOO? IT'S STARRY!" Yes the caps lock is necessary because I'd be shouting it. :P

I think it would be too. (Haha, I had endless arguments with my mum before I got mine. She gave up in the end because she couldn't tell me what I could do when I was in a different country. :P She likes it now though.)

Your food also sounds awesome. I'm gonna alternate between the pair of yous. I like the sound of all this exotic sounding food. :P

message 996: by Hayley (new)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Hmm, your brother should cook for you perhaps instead of ready meals ;)

Haha, poor Tom may be a bit shocked at first, I'm sure he'll get over it tho' ;D

My mum had had a few drinks by then and we'd had a very good day by that point :D I knew she'd say no if I asked her beforehand :P

@Rea - I'd slap the boyf a little bit for that, that's just rubbing it in :P Char should definitely try the raw sliced meat thing. Although I prefer Sushi myself ;D
That's a sweet tattoo memory you have too, how adorable :D

message 997: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) He sohuld... but the last time he cooked for me he burnt the pizza. (It happened before the lactose thing.)

Haha! I genuinely think if I mentioned my Twitter name he wouldn't be at all shocked. :P Of course he will! :D

Fair enough... I like your style. I'd never have managed to do it quite like that. I had to fight it out with her because of where I was putting it. :P

message 998: by Rea, Ghost (new)

Rea | 1992 comments Mod
I suppose he has the right to want something a little more exotic. The meals he gets right now are VERY plain. Usually it's chicken fried in red onion with some iron-rich veg and he gets a potato but I don't. The only reason he's putting up with it is because he cba to cook for himself, though!

message 999: by Hayley (new)

Hmm, you know - as you're lactose intolerant you'd be great with Thai food and such, they use coconut milk a lot & not much dairy stuff in their cooking :D

He would probably be happy to finally meet you tbh hun - you're one of his biggest fans after all :D

My tattoo's on my hip so it was well hidden (though I did need to buy bikini shorts to cover it on hols)

Funnily enough, my tat is on my hip too! Yours is the spidey tat, right? *shudder* :p

Thai food would be good! And Italian, they do everything with pesto but you need to actually be in Italy for that. In France they're a bit addicted to cheese... full cheese course and everything!
