I'm reading A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkess. It has loads of good reviews but I'm having a little difficulty getting into it.

Do we just get started and comment as we go along? I have read 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' but am looking forward to 'The Night Circus' - I just want to do it right!!

I've just started , the follow up to . The chapters alternate between 'now' and 'then' which took a little bit of getting used to, but I'm only a third of the way through and I'm already getting torn between which story thread I like best and want to get back to the most. Wondering if it can keep the pace up to end!

I just finished listening to War Horse and reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone, and really enjoyed them both! I'm moving onto The Hunger Games because I figured I'd better stop procrastinating with that one...seeing as how just about everyone has read it so far...and I'm going to get dragged to the movie anyway!

I'm reading Emma for a class. I've read it a coupla times already, but not in the last few years. I remember loving it, although the scenes with Miss Bates could be a bit tedious--I guess that's the point. All of Austen's novels have this way of making you tear up, but not at the romantic scenes. It's the moral scenes that do that.

I am reading 'Yesterday's sun' by Amanda Brooke because it was a Richard and Judy 2012 recommendation - but it is too frothy after finishing The Ebb & Flow by David Edwards last night. Maybe it is me? Chalk and cheese? TEAF is definitely scrummy cheese and YS is chalky - I read somewhere it is good for indigestion. Hey ho.
