The new American movie? I'm not sure whether I want to see it or boycott it because there's a perfectly good (and very well filmed, I might add) Swedish movie that I really enjoyed.

Romeo and Juliet....a lot more sexual references then what I remembered reading in high school.

I have had that book for some 5 years now and still haven't cracked it, but it's my goal to read it this year. Good luck with it! Hope you like it.

My husband said this was a great book...I'm looking forward to reading that book also this year.

Really? I got it for the bf x-mas 2010 but he's never touched it. Maybe I should dust it off!

I recently finished Pride and Prejudice, as I had heard about it for years but did not know the story. It's an excellent book and a lot better than what I was expecting.

Please let me know what you think of The People Next Door Maya - I bought that book the other day and will hopefully be starting it tomorrow.

I have read that it is a really great read and bk2 is out now too

Hey Dannniella, this is my gumby question for the day. I have Dead Beautiful on my wishlist, but I don't know anyone who's actually read it. What's it about and what do you think of it??

Hey Dannniella, this is my gumby..."
It follows the thoughts of Renee Winters, whom when she lived in California her parents die. It seems that Renee a bizarre 'gift', there's this kind of invisible force that pulls her to dead bodies animal, human etc. She attends a school in Maine called Gottfried Academy, where she meet Dante. Dante Berlin is a kind of social outcast, but with Renee he is different and they get together and the headmistress takes an interest in them being a couple, for what I don't know, I'm only 68% through, but I find it interesting. I really like this book. I find it really hard to put it down once I've picked it up. Love it! I would recommend Dead Beautiful to anyone.
I've got Dead Beautiful too. It's hovering somewhere on my "I-really-ought-to-get-to-this-asap" pile.
I've been going through some books for review that I've had hanging around for a while. Trying to catch up on my obligations!

Thanks for the info :-) It sounds like my sort of story - I'll definitely be buying it on payday! As I said it was on my wishlist because it looked interesting, but I couldn't find a review on it. Thanks to you, it's gone from a maybe-buy to a definitely-buy! :-D

I can't wait to finish it just to read the second book I kinda know the just of what happens in the end but I want to see how it progresses. I fell in love with Dante straight away so I had to so III p ahead a few chapters based on the chapter title last night to make sure lol

I absolutely loved ADOW, when I finished I went straight back to the start and read it again! Can't wait for the next installment!

At the moment I'm reading A Dance With Dragons, and though I'm enjoying it it's so heavy my wrists ache and I have to keep putting it down lol :-(

Currently reading King Solomon's Mines and boy oh boy is there a knee jerk reaction when you're reminded about the sort of attitudes that were rife when this was written :O

lol Hayley I'm thinking you have the right idea getting them on the eReader - I have the 5 books in hardcover, and I swear my hands and wrists have never been so bad! But they are excellent books, so that's a plus isn't it? lol :-)
Hahaha, yes, the Song of Ice and Fire hardbacks are on the ultra heavy side!!
I just finished
today... only a month after the end of the festive season. I won the book in a giveaway and started it before X-mas but never finished it. Figured I'd better finish it now before the season is well and truly behind us and spring hits!
