Good because I have about five books to read in about nine days. There have been a few of her books that have done that to me.

all her books do that to me, i just cant seem to put them down. The only book that started dragging on a bit was the Tenth Circle. But otherwise she's my favourite author. All her books mesmerize me.

i finished lone wolf, it had me in tears by the end of it and Luke's perspective is the saddest of them all. I think no one really understands him throughout the book. It's sad.

I sort of liked the ending though. I mean I thought all along that Luke would get better but he didn't. And even thought the ending was sad i thought it was realistic and that's the thing about Jodi Picoult books, she doesn't come back to the cliched "they lived happily ever after endings" and i like that.

I really wanted him to live :( you are right though thats what makes her books they are so realistc i loved the chapter about barney it added something special to the end i think. it made me think that Luke got be with his wolf that one more time x

yeah i took the last chapter as like a reincarnation of Luke. You know how he described that he felt like he was headed home? And how he felt familiar with the wolf...and i also took it as the wolf recognised him. So yeah i took it as a reincarnation.
And yes the realistic themes and ending is what hold me to Picoult books.

I just finished this one as well and I also loved it. All of Picoult's endings are unique and she doesn't sugar coat anything.

I'm reading Vanishing Acts and loving it. I have House Rules and Second Glance on my bookshelf waiting to be read. Any suggestions for which one should be next?

Finished House Rules and I am about 40 pages into her newest book "Lone Wolf." I met her About 2 weeks ago, she is AWESOME in person!!

I am not far into the book at all, but I was surprised that one afternoon I sat down to start it (feeling tired) and before I wound up passing out, I had already read 30 pages. I was like "Well, that went by quick!" So I bet the rest of the story (when I have time to read) will be equally as awesome. She read us a passage from it and I was hanging on her every word.

I finished House Rules, and I really liked it. Now reading Sing You Home and half way through in one day. Very easy reading. Love the characters and story line. Which should I read next?

Right now I'm reading "Lone Wolf" and I just can't get into it the way I could the others. "Handle with Care" is my favorite!

Sadly, I have to give it a "so-so" rating as well. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm just having a hard time caring about the characters as much as I normally do with her books. I generally find myself thinking about the characters long after I put the book down but with this one, they're out of sight out of mind. Another reason I give it the rating is when I pick up any book of hers I read it that same day, yet this book I picked up the day it was released and I haven't been able to get more than halfway through :/

Katrina, I really liked Lone Wolf. You can't really compare her books to each other because they are all different. If you are looking for a shapeshifting book this is not it. It was pretty deep for me at least.

Well I am definitley excited to hear a good review! And I have to agree that in the four books I've read, I have found absolutely no way to compare the books to one another. Though I think before Lone Wolf, I would like to read a few more of her older books. Sing you Home and Vanishing acts are the next two! Then I hope to get into Lone Wolf. I think, for myself at least, I have to be in a certain mood to read some of her books. So I'm hoping by waiting I'll get more out of the plots :)

I liked Lone Wolf a lot more after I finished it than I did when I wrote this. It gets really good! Handle with Care is my favorite <3

Hi, I'm brand new to the group. I just finished Keeping Faith (I'm a longtime Picoult fan, but some of her earlier works I am catching up on).

I've actually met Jodi at a book signing; she's super!

I loved House Rules!
I have to say I liked "Lone Wolf". The info about the wolf behavior was really interesting and I thought the way each character had separate chapters was an interesting format. The interactions within the family seemed relevant and the decision making and responsibility of family members in a time of crisis like Luke's seemed realistic. It didn't leave me with the prolonged angst like some of the books but I liked it enough to recommend it to others.

I'm currently read Perfect Match. It's a good book so far, a little disturbing in certain areas but it really does grip you.

Currently reading Lone Wolf. It's definitely not my favorite of Jodi's but I can't NOT read a book of her's! It's also fitting because I work in a hospital so I see situations like this.
