Hmmm I have never... kissed a frog."
I've actually never had any kind of coffee either. I may have to try it tho..."
Stay strong! Non-Coffee-Drinkers of the world UNITE!
hehehe
I've never been hang gliding, although I've wanted to. Either I never had the time or the money...

oh gosh that could have gone so wrong there....dessert. tee here I suppose I have never been in a dessert either... bit messy don't you think?

To me, it's as bad as hearing nails scratching a chalkboard.
I suppose it depends on the type of sand . I went to this island and it had really squeaky sand. yet I've been to beaches with really soft sand.
it never bothers me except for the clean up afterwards.
hey that could be another I have never...
but GG I can understand. the squeaky sand was annoying after a while. but nails on blackboard?... hmm fair enough. everyone has a tolerance for things.
for me I can't stand the sound a zipper on a pencil case makes!

Wet sand is ok. It's to get to the wet part that would be a huge problem. :P
I can't touch sand, flour, or powder with my hands either unless I have a bucket of water near me and I can wet my hands every 30 seconds (AT MAX) (I'm good. It went from 15 to 30 so... :P)
You are honestly the first person I've ever heard of that can't stand the sound of a zipper. I guess I'm not the only weirdo! COOL! I feel better now. :P
I've never visited an English speaking country outside of North America, though I have switched planes in London Heathrow, what a horrible airport. I really want to go to Australia and Scotland.

I have never Scooby dive, skinny dip, water skied or even dive in water. (I HATE water!)
I have never jumped in a parachute, or went into a zeppelin or balloon nor glide... (Hmm I'm afraid of heights!)
Heck, I could go on like that forever. :P
well this topic has been going 3years....3YEARS!!!
so I suppose we have time for more on your list GG.

I've never had a library fine either!"
What is wrong with you guys not supporting your library. :-)
Reading through all these never haves.... I realize I've done most of them, no parachuting, I was too young when a group of us went though bungee and hang-gliding are a have done, I've never water skied, even though my brother has the boat and skis but I've snow skied and jet skied, never flew in a helicopter though I'm a certified plane pilot.

@Norma- are you kidding? You know that is right between Maryland and Pennsylvania?
You know what, I've never been able to spell Pennsylvania without spell check.

lol Amy, I have never waterskiied.....never will either.
never been on a Thrill ride or roller-coaster.
never will and never have parachuted, bungee jump, base jump or any adrenaline releasing /life risking activity.
i have epilepsy, so activities are a bit restricted for me.
But saying that i do try to push boundaries as that is just who i am. so whilst i might not be allowed to go to nightclubs i can go when i wear my sunglasses or don't have a light show going on.

Ok, then I have, when I went to Washington D.C.! I have never been further south than that though.
I have also never jumped out of a plane, I have never successfully completed a diet plan, I have never had natural child birth, I have never worn skinny jeans...
I HAVE, however, had library fees!

oooh dreaded skinny jeans... i haven't worn those either.... i hate them, they make people look either anorexic or look like a marshmellow.

Hope you enjoy. I loved NYC as a teen but became less and less enamored as I got older. Lots to see and do for a first time though.
@Norma -Thanks for supporting our libraries Norma!

@amyiw are we talking fees or fines here? little confused here. i'll explain what each one means to me as to me they are two different things.
fees to me are paying for upkeep of the library through local council rates. which is what we do as they are council run libraries. to get a library card we dont have to pay to join the library as technically we are paying aready for it in our council rates. so its free to join any library within your local council.... not too sure about other council areas yet i was told i could join Melbourne's main library because rates are paid.
fines are when i don't hand the library book in on time so i have to pay fines! (which is what i was talking about in the original comment)
however we have to pay to use photocopiers& printers. which i think must go towards the upkeep as well.

Fines woman, we don't pay fees, everyone pays them in taxes, the ultimate fees.
Luckily right now, we have pretty decent libraries. We consider libraries essential so taxes are the major funding. Is council rates taxes? Along with that there are grants, friends of the library (I like to support this way too), donations, etc..., but no fees to join.
A lot of extra is done after the basic running expense by private source, for instance, The Friends of the Library, runs a use book corner selling books, along with donations and such, they bring in a bit. They paid for a children's play room in the new children's area of the library, along with other improvements. They also can help buy books, etc...
Oh, so to answer the question...
Fines, I paid overdue fines. I know that a book is due but fail to renew until a day or two late. Or the renewal is blocked so I have to take the book back. That I try to do as soon as I know it. Or I know it is due and plan to take the books back but put them by the door and do not notice them for a few days. My husband cannot understand this inability to see things in front of my face.

you pay them in taxes? wow never knew that
we have crappy libraries in the local council. i'd love to support them more but they don't take donations and they cater towards the multicultural community and kids more than anyone else. this is a great thing if i had kids. but the books i read the series usually goes by random number. its full of half series, single books halfway through series etc.
so I'd love to support my library but its really really hard to feel passionate about it. i feel sad for the existing books and it is disheartening i feel this way about a series of libraries(5 of them). however they do have good e resources at least and are linked to overdrive and borrow box.... so there is that!

Hmmm I have never... kissed a frog."
I've actually never had any kind of coffee either. I may have to try it though. I'm 26 and people give me poo over it all the time.
