I didn't feel like a joke to me... and to think that I thought that Izzy joked around when she called someone weird...
It kinda sounded like one of those messages where you want to curse someone out and yet not get on their bad side..

It's kinda hard to get the pencil up there, because if you do it wrong it does this trick where if you just jiggle the lifter thingy for a bit the lockers swings right open. Look it up on Google or something.
