Sean shrugged. "What ever froze the river ... Well, I can't see anything. It might be temporary, though." He laughed lightly. "Good thing I know how to use my other senses..."

"Blind? As in.... can't see?" Amorie asked, still really confused and lightheaded.

Twixie sat on a boulder beside the river. ((Dar ya go :D))

Sean lifted his head. "Is Amorie alright?" He asked. "What about you and Twixie?"

Sean lifted his hand towards Amorie and put it gently on her shoulder. "You're a little bit cold." He grinned. "You alright?"

"TH-thanks for the s-sun." She said, smiling lightly as she brushed the ice crystals out of her scarlet hair.

Sean wouldve looked at Twixie too, if he could see where she was. He had very good hearing, yet fairies made no sound unless they wanted to. "Wait. I've sensed the same kind of danger before... last night in the tavern. Everyone was affected and froze in place, not exactly with ice, but they didn't move. Maybe there was ice in their blood. But I felt the danger there, it was different than any other danger I've sensed nearby."

"Really? Like.... they just couldn't move?" She asked, thinking about the fish.

Sean nodded. "Every man and woman. At first I thought it wasbecause they were all drunk, but I could tell they weren't moving at all. Maybe they were breathing, but if it was the water in their blood that was frozen, then maybe their hearts stopped anyway..."

Amorie put a hand over her mouth. "Oh my God. Oh God." She whispered, stunned into submission. "Oh God."

"Uh?" Sean turned to her. "Oh... Sorry." He smiled weakly. "I guess I shouldn't have gone off to detail it..."

Amorie shook her head. "Your fine, it's just.... there was no reason." She said softly.

"Indeed. It would seem so." Sean shrugged. "But on the other hand what if there was a reason..."

"Why? Why would someone do that?" She asked, repulsion coloring her normally calm voice. "What MONSTER would do that?!?!?"
