Felix embraced her warmly, then let go. "Just wait. The guy will come-- one day. Kay? Just concentrate on surviving for the time being."
Sam smiled gratefully up at her friend. "Thanks, lovie. And same gies for you. I'm sure there's that special someone out there for you."
"Maybe," he shrugged. "I'm not interested at the moment. That person will probably just pop in front of me, but I won't even notice it, in till much later. And you know what? I'm completely cool with that. 'Coz it's my fate. Or destiny." The boy slightly faltered at the last part, but he waved it away. "There's no such thing as luck. Everything happens for a reason."
Sam smiled at him. "Gods, I wish I were more like you. I mean, I guess I want to calm down for a while, but on other days... Iunno. I just wish I had someone to tell everything. Not that I don't tell you like, everything," she added quickly. "You-- of all people-- don't believe in luck?" She straightened up. "I disagree. If it weren't for luck, who knows what Drake would have-" She stopped suddenly, eyes widening. Someone else had been there that day. A certain blonde. "Oh. My. Gods."
"What?" Felix exclaimed, straightening up as well. "As for the luck thing, it's what we call the reasons of the gods." He shrugged. "Nothing big."

"Nothing big."""I just remembered the other girl that had been at the archery range that day. Remember?" She poked his side. "The one who saved us from whatever Drake was about to do to us? Ohmygods that was Airlia." Her name came out in a spit, as if Sam were speaking the name of Kronos himself.
"Oh," Felix's voice dropped. "She's hot." He grinned goofily as he stared out in to the distance.
"So, what's your business with her?"
"So, what's your business with her?"
Sam scowled at him. "Seriously, she is not that hot. And that's just scary, coming from you." "My business with her is... Sorta complicated." She shrugged, fixating her gaze onto the floor above where her flip flopped feet dangled.
"What do you mean she's not hot?! How can you not see that? She's like the camp's Helen... Minus the bloodshed." He instantly remembered how most guys found her attractive, and how they had gotten there hearts broken. "... Ish. And how is it scary, coming from me?"
"Well, if it's business, I'll understand."
"Well, if it's business, I'll understand."
Sam rolled her eyes. "I just don't find her attractive. Though, I'm a girl, so that's normal. For me." She shot him an incredulous look. "I thought you were interested in guys. Since when have you found femanines attractive?" She raised an eyebrow. "Well... It's not business, we just don't get along. Especially after I called her a slut... And then she called me a whore." Her eyes flashed, turning as hard as flint.
"I'm by," Felix said flatly.
"Ah. Well, that's completely different matter altogether."
"Ah. Well, that's completely different matter altogether."
Sam looked up at the news. "Huh. I never knew that." She shrugged, feeling just as comfortable with him as before. "Gee, you think?" She asked, tightening her ponytail with a sigh. "I just don't see what her problem is with me. Well, other than calling her a slut."
"Let's see. You made out with her boyfriend. I'm pretty sure she would be pretty angry at that."
"But he wasn't her boyfriend at the time!" Sam protested. "Deon and I were kinda together at the time. And we never made out," she added quickly. "We just kissed a little. We weren't gonna make out with kids around."
Felix shrugged. "Whatever you say, Sammy."
Sam sighed, shaking her head. "I'm not lying to you. Remember when I was looking for a tire and rope? That was for our first official date." Her face darkened. "Then something happened with him and Airlia. We "broke up" the next morning."
"Oh." Felix put a comforting arm around Sam. "Sorry," he said apologetically. "That sucks. Well, I guess they were together first."
Her arms snaked around his waist, and she smiled up at him. "Thanks, Felix. Yeah, they were. But it's not your fault. It's probably mine." She shrugged gently.
"It's okay. As I said before, there is that special person waiting for you. Better luck next time!" Felix said, straightening up.
"Suuure," she drawled out, fighting a smile. She gave him a small squeeze before dropping her arms. "Yeah, maybe. I've never had the best luck."
Felix raised his eyebrows. "That's weird. You should try spending more time with me." He winked at Sam with a warm smile. "Everything will work out. I promise."
"I should spend more time with you, but not brcause I need luck." She returned the wink, smile breaking through her lips. "Oh, I know. Someday, everything will make sense." A devilish grin. "Even to me. And I don't always get everything."
"No," Felix agreed. "You're not the most selfish person." He chuckled and got up. "Well, I have to go back to my studying, but I'll talk to you later."
Sam grinned, standing up as well. "All right, luv. I'd better get back to reading." She picked up her magazine. "Ta." She waved, smiling widely before ducking out of the library towards her cabin. Hopefully it would be empty.
Kyle opened the doors and entered the library. He was instantly overwhelmed by the amount of books. Why hadn't he looked in here before? He had to thank Loia for the suggestion.
Kyle slowly walked over to a nearby section."Aristophanes, Herodotus, I think I even saw some Plato. This place is loaded. Wait, what's this." He slowly pulled out a dusty book. Wiping off some of the dust he read out-loud. "Circe's tale: Magic and love. What on earth..."
"This place has some really weird books." Kyle slide the book back into the shelf. "But seriously. Thanks for showing me this. It rocks." He gave her another warm smile. "I owe you one."
Loia returns the smile with a small shrug. "Its been a while since I was here, but it hasn't changed a bit."
Dillon’s first thought upon entering the library, whoa. It was massive, or at least bigger than any library he’d been in. He was surprised to see the computers, but he hoped maybe that might make his searching easier. He made his way through the shelves to them.
Kelsey walked into the library, and sat down to read a book. SHe was surprised it was written in english! She though all books at the camp were written in acient Greek.
((Kelsey's? She is a Demeter!))
((I didn't mean the "!". Sorry. I haven't been on for months. When did you join?))

"Yeah, I felt so bad for him." She pouted. "I was so pissed at Holly, but, whatever. He's over her." She shrugged nonchalantly. "And even if he were really flirting with me, we're just friends. We've only really gotten to know each other since the beginning of summer. I definately don't want to rush into any more relationships." She made a face, leaning into her friend with a sigh.
