"So this is a noneating area? Ah well, now I'm chewing gum so it doesn't matter." His gaze drifted to her hand and scrawling, confusion flickering in his eyes. The confusion transformed his own face, furrowing his eyebrows and making his lips purse out like a pout. "What in Hades are you doing? You can get lead poisoning from that."
"It'd be ink poisoning, since this 1. has no lead, 2. would be marked as 'toxic' on the side, so 3. I can't get 'lead poinsoning.'"
She said it as if it were obvious, and she in fact, did think it was fairly obvious. "You'd best throw away the shit in your mouth before someone with authority catches you."

"It's not shit," he protested sadly. "It's bubble gum." To make his point, he blew a large bubble.

"You have these things on the end of your arm called fingers. You should use them," Cassidy commented.

"Fantastic. Try over there," Cassidy replied, pointing in a general direction as to where he should look.

Cassidy shook it then returned it to her desk on top of her planner. She proceeded to draw onto her forearm.

A small giggle escaped from the redhead's lips as she surveyed Spencer with big eyes, shaking her head to herself as she began organizing the bo..."
((Spencer looks smoking period.))
Felix was sitting at a table, reading a book. He had a pile of books stacked next to him, making it impossible for anyone to see the light brown haired boy.

Yes, Sam Taylore was actually reading a magazine with words. It was only a magazine, yes, but it was a good start for this seventeen year old girl. Reading wasn't one of her strong points. She would much rather be practicing track or in the battle arena. But, Sam was having one of those lazy days.
Felix got up with a sigh, stretching his bones. He had been sitting there since dawn. Naturally, he had gotten up for a bit of food, once in a while.
He peaked a look at the girl scrawled on the couch.
“Sam!” he exclaimed, shocked to see her reading. “What brings you here?”

"Hey, Felix! Haven't seen you in a while." Her lips formed into a pout as she realized the truth in her words. They hadn't seen each ifher since last year. Before Capture the Flag. To answer his question, she shrugged her shoulders. "I'm reading." As if he needed proof, she waved the magazine in front of him. "And thinking."
Felix nodded sadly. "It's true. We haven't. Well, I have been busy with business." He stopped in his tracks as he realized what he had just sad. Sorry!
"You're reading?" Felix chuckled. "Thinking, huh? Well, if you need to talk about anything, you know I'm open."

"What kind of business? Sorry I never stopped by " she apologized, perplexed by his sudden jolt. "I've kind if been bust myself. Kind of."
"I've been working on a shoppe with Phoebe, daughter of Hephaestus. She makes jewelry, I sell it, and collect the money.
Anyway, enough about me. So, what's new with you?"

"Nothing good. Well, that's not true. I've gotten to see Caspar van der Lewsen shirtless. Three times." She grinned, holding up three fingers.
"You're making progress in your love life, I suppose." Felix smiled sheepishly at Sam. "We're pretty good friends. Really close, actually."
Silverfur- (I love Edward!!!!!!) wrote: "Sam scoffed, bumping her hip against his. "Don't act so surprised. I have my moments." In truth, she had a rush of gossip for him to catch up on. Surely he remembered about her and Deon? If word of..."

Sam rolled her misty gray eyes up towards the ceiling. Her ponytail swung, hitting each side of her neck as she frantically shook her head. "No! It's not like that... I don't think so, anyway." She frowned in thought. He did say my butt was cute... "And even if I was, I'm sure it wouldn't work out." Dissapointment laced her voice like laungerie(sp?). "Seeing as how close you two are, I'm sure you could guess why." She smiled weakly.

"And the bay, for now, was stock-still
The waves, turquoise blue, elegant-
ly merge, and gleaming, in to fill
the landscape, merry but poignant.""
He sighed and recited:
"And the bay, for now, was stock-still

the landscape, merry but poignant."
Sappho nodded gravely. "Is that your work?" she asked, tilting her dark head to a side to watch Arion though hooded amber eyes.

"Hundreds," Sappho said with a quiet smile, turning back to her book to flip a page and scrawl a line down.
"I never stop writing."
"I never stop writing."

"Wow. My foster parents call teenagers, 'bums with no creativity that lounge around watching violent T.V' I know it's a lie."

Felix put his hands on his hips in a very, 'I know what I'm doing,' way.
"Well," he said after an afterthought. "What exactly did he say? This is important. Did you ask him? Any actions? Mind you, he was probably drunk at the time too... That would be typical, 'Completely Uncrushable Caspar'." Felix smiled at the thought.

Blush rushed into her face, and she smiled shyly. "Did I ask him what? Uh... He said I had a cute butt, but I really think he was kidding." She raised an eyebrow in Felix's direction. "And it's not like you can't tell the difference between a drunk Caspar and a sober one! It's soo obvious."
Felix rolled his bright blue eyes. "I need exact words, please," he sighed falling back on the couch. He itched the top of his head, passing it off as a brush.

Felix sounded exaspherated. "I need words here!" he said, waving a book in her face. "Or would you rather me just not to help you in reading Caspar? Your decision!" Felix bit his lip.

"Mm-ah," Felix said, not sounding impressed. "That, darling, was exactly what sounded like normal, unbalanced 'Completely Noncrashable Caspar'. And before you say anything, I do not have a crush on the guy. It's just what he called himself when he was drunk because he was depressed his girlfriend broke up with him after going on a gods-damn quest!" His voice was slightly rising, as he said this all without a single breath.
"I'm just quoting from him," he drawled, turning his head so he looked so mighty and important.
