"Does it show?" Jaxon asked.Katia walked out when she heard a car approaching.
Jaxon laughed, and caught the ball."Thankyou." Katia said, getting into the car.
"I don't really have one." Katia said. "Except I hate fried chicken. Any other place though is ok with me.:"What fall?" Jaxon asked.
"Oh." Jaxon said."Alright." Katia said.
"Sounds good." Katia said."No way." Jaxon said, honestly disbelieving. "You never have been a nerd."
"Sweat pants?" Jaxon said, trying not to laugh. "Wow. But Star Wars is cool.""So, Nate, where are you from?" Katia asked.
"So are bluejeans." Jaxon pointed out."Why's it called Salt Lake?" Katia asked.
Jaxon chuckled. "Sweats make me feel lazy. With jeans, you're comfortable, and you don't look like you've been in your bat cave all day." he said."Seriously?" Katia asked, astonished.
"That's cool." Katia said."Are you wearing sweats?" Jaxon asked. He'd honestly not noticed what she'd been wearing at all.
Jaxon looked at her more closely. "Then yes, you look like you just came out of a bat cave." he said. "But don't worry, you make a cute bat.""I'm from here. I've always lived here." Katia said.
Jaxon laughed. "I'd like to see you try." he challenged."Well, sor-ry." Katia said, making sorry two syllables. "I didn't choose where I was born."
"Oh." Katia said. "Right. Sorry.""Come on, what?" Jaxon asked, slightly confused.
"Alright then." Jaxon said, prepared for the challenge."So, how far are we?" Katia asked.
Cecilia opened her door and got out.((What's a screw ball?))
Jaxon attempted to catch it.
Katia stepped inside.((oh, ok))
Jaxon, however, was unable to catch it before it hit the ground.
Katia stood next to him.Jaxon smiled too. "Alright, fine. If that's how you want to play it..." and he threw a hard curve ball back.
Jaxon was trying really hard not to laugh. "S-s-sorry." he said, obviously trying to hold back laughter.Katia followed the waitress.
The ball hit him, and Jaxon grunted, falling to the ground, groaning.Katia smiled at him. "Thank you." she said, sitting down.
Jaxon groaned. "...yeah..." he said, slowly standing up."Um..." Katia picked something off the menu.
Jaxon shook his head. "No, I'm ok." he answered.Katia told the waitress person her order.
Jaxon shook his head. "Honestly, I'm ok." he said.((How many what?))
"No where." Katia answered. "I've never been outside the city limits."Jaxon sat down next to her.
"A trip?" Katia asked.Jaxon smiled easily back. "So, I think we should take a break at throwing the ball. any lower or any higher and I would surely have needed medical attention." he joked.
"To where?" Katia asked.Jaxon laughed. "Touche."
Katia thought about it. "When?" she asked.Jaxon thought about it for a second...."Alright, sure." he agreed.
Katia thought..."No. We'd have to do it some other time.""So was there any where in particular that you wanted to go?" Jaxon asked.
"Is the fact that I met you two hours ago a good one?" Katia said."Alright...do you want to walk or drive?" Jaxon asked.
"Ok, walking it is." Jaxon said, standing up."No. Driving any more than a few blocks with a virtual stranger is still considered a no." katia said.
"No where right now. You have some where in particular you need to be?" Katia asked."Where are we going again?" Jaxon asked.
"Alright then." Katia said, and she sipped her drink."...Ok, then. It'll be a surprise. For both of us." Jaxon said.
Jaxon started walking."Basketball." Katia said.
Katia paid for her food and then stood. "Be prepared to lose." she said."So, which school do you go to?" Jaxon asked as he walked.
Katia walked out of the restaurant. "Blue Gill." Jaxon said.
Katia arrived at the local basketball court and grabbed a ball.Jaxon shrugged. "It's possible."
Jaxon smiled back. "Yeah, I guess it is.""One on one." Katia said.
Katia looked at herself in her mirror. She wasn't sure if she'd interpreted the dress code correctly or not, but she figured she'd find out as she walked to her living room and sat on her couch, waiting.
