The dash is a shelf - I know. Weird, huh?

And you have to use the free cross-offs immediately. It's way scary to cross off a shelf without knowing if you might end up hitting it later. And in the last Shelf a Thon I did end up hitting like, 6 shelves I had crossed off. That's totally frustrating, too. But, that's the way it's designed. Gotta take a risk.
