Omg, I was in the Frick art museum one day and this guy comes in wearing shorts overalls. I can't remember if they were leather or denim, but holy cow, it was bizarre and incongruous. He didn't seem to be wearing them ironically, either, although sometimes it's hard to tell.

I've worn shorts overalls myself....but I think it's a look whose time has passed, especially among the menfolk, unless they are tending sheep in Alpine meadows.

Though, now that I look closer, they seem to make her hips disappear.

I think they're actually different catalogs. The first one was Talbot's. I can't remember what the second was. But maybe the same harvester-photographer?

I wish we could move these posts into the fashion thread. No one will ever think to search in potatoes, if we need to reference them in the future.
