Sue, you picked a good one for your morning cinema! Several people on here have seen it, me included, and agree with you 100%. When we walked out of the theater, my husband mentioned the same thing you said -- how quickly those two hours went by! And as for seeing Colin Firth "in the flesh," ooooh, more power to you! In our dreams, huh? ;-)
I absolutely loved the movie! My husband who isn't into things British raved about the movie as we left the 11:05 a.m. show on Saturday. I can't wait for the video.
I don't think that any of our theaters have morning shows, but I would go see Colin Firth any time of the day! I really want to see this movie, but I live in such a small town.....
When I mentioned this movie last night, dh let out an exasperated sigh WITH eye rolling, but when I phoned him this morning to tell him I'm going to the 11:00 showing he told me to wait for this weekend so we could go together....*sigh* I will wait. But he did take me out to a nice lunch :)
I have heard nothing but good things about this movie! I am actually going to wait until it comes out on our Video channel so I can bring my gram over to watch it - since she actually lived through that period in England this is a movie she is looking forward to seeing!
Stacey, did you and your hubby go see it over the weekend?Miranda, great idea to share it with your gram! Most of the people in the theater when Q and I saw it were older than we were!
Stacey, hopefully you can go, either alone or with DH, before the Oscars later this month (27th). It's well worth making time for it.

I watched 'The King's Speech' - it was wonderful and no surprise that it's nominated for a bunch of Oscars.
It's about two hours' long but feels like 45 minutes has gone by - I highly recommend it.
I've twice seen Colin Firth in the flesh, so to speak, and he's gorgeous!
