Maybe he's not very fun to be around when he's stressed, and it's Cathy that kind of helps him relax and see reason? Maybe he was a little disappointed at first that they couldn't have more kids because he grew up with five siblings and likes big families?

Yeah, I can see them talking about cars, and driving, and Jack's more into football, but they probably play both together. Even though Mitch totally sucks at football and Jack totally sucks at basketball. XD
I know Mitch always hates it when his dad and his cousins pressure him into playing football with them at Thanksgiving...

Age: I'll say 49, because that's how old he'd be right now...
Appearance: Sandy blonde hair that is thinning a little, blue eyes. He's about 6'6", and has a slim build. He has a small mouth and thin lips, and he has a very button-like nose (that's where Mitch gets his nose, but obviously not his lips.) Other than that, I have no idea.
Personality: *has no brain* I guess he's a little like Mitch, but almost completely lacks his son's temper.
Past: *brain is still AWOL* All I know is he didn't go to college.
Family: His parents are divorced, and I don't think he has a very good relationship with his dad, because his dad is kind of a dirtbag. Jack has two sisters and three brothers as well. He married Mitch's mom when he was about 20, and they had three miscarriages before they had Mitch, and then three after him before they had Holly (that's why Mitch is 9 years older than his sister).
What I want help with: Everything. I'd like personality, some appearance, some more past, a reason for his dad to be a dirtbag, and I'd really love some quirks.
