She kissed him on the mouth. "How can I help, Hatter?"

He paused, thinking. "Let's find Charlie."
"We need to get out of here." he looked around. "I think we can go down the stairs I came up."
She nodded, took his hand, and got ready to run.
She ran with him, keeping up with him nicely.
They left the building, and the Hatter sighed in relief.
Alice grinned. "Thank God we're out of there."
He nodded, smiling in relief. "Where's Charlie, d' you reckon?"
She thought about it for a bit. "He's not where he used to live?"
"He might be." The Hatter pointed out.
She started to head in that general direction.
He walked with her, careful to avoid the windows of the palace.
Alice wasn't trying to avoid the windows. She wasn't aware that she should have.
"Alice!" he hissed, tugging her out the viewing line of the windows. "If they see you, you're in big trouble!"
