My mental image of some of the characters

This isn't really a question just amusing (to me anyway). When I was reading Late Rain Sandra and I were burning through the OZ DVD's. Very quickly two of the characters from OZ became my mental image for two of the characters in Late Rain in an overlapping of the two fiction consumptions.

The character Sean Murphy (OZ) became Ben Decovic (LR) and Bob Rebadow (OZ) became Jack (LR)

Here's an odd fact--I don't ever (and I think it's because I'm incapable) imagine what characters look like. I just see really blurry and vague masses.

I don't normally, or it isn't something I do a lot. But the two really overlapped in this instance.

When you don't do it, what do you see?

I almost always form a mental image of the characters. I have no frame of reference with OZ though, so I can't compare notes with you on that. ;-)
