"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
Yes, yes we are. One of the best movies of all time! I made my husband watch it a few weeks ago, he had never seen it before (I know, he was, in fact, living under a rock before he met me.), he's still quoting it. His favorite is:
"Let me put it this way. Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates?...Morons!"
"Let me put it this way. Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates?...Morons!"

In a nutshell, it is about 2 parents who imprison their children in the family compound and try to eliminate outside influences. Any word that comes from the outside is given an innocuous meaning. For example, "zombie" is said to be a "small yellow flower".
One aspect is regarding learned helplessness, but one of the children's natural curiosity slowly emerges and she tries to escape.
Has anyone else seen it? It would be interesting to discuss without fear of SPOILERS.

Perhaps the fact he has only two "e"s will help you recover?
