me too, that's kind of why he has a special place in my heart. but who knows maybe I still would've fallen in love with Jace even if I had read Clockwork Angel first. :)
James is sweet yea, but jace is my kinda guy idk maybe I like the bad boys lol:)

Hello im new to the group but i would go for Jace hands down
Sorry but i'm all for will!! love him!! cannot live without him, but i'm dying to know is secret!! Jace buggs me cause he keeps on trying to protect clary from his dreams and what he thinks he is!
True but what bugs me about Will is his reluctantness to open up to Tessa more you know he wants too.
They each carry something different about them. But I loved Jace from the beginning. Not just because he's the bad boy, but because he cares. He might show it in a very, very weird way. He is still Jace though. Nothing could change the way he is because of what he's had to deal with. No one can take that away. Will is nice though.... Just haven't gotten to know him like I have Jace.
I don't really know Will's character well enough, though, that just might be the answer! I loved Jace from the first moment - Pandemonium. He has so much depth and I love it!! JACE definitaly :)
I just started reading the Infernal Devices. I have to say though i think i will forever be a Jace fan. Will is still super interesting though. Jem seems so nice. :)

Will. Herondale. ALL THE WAY!Now before all you Jace lovers curse me out, here are my reasons why ;) ...
- Jace is too self pitying. And before you all say, "Wow Breeze, he's been through a lot! Give him a break!" or, "Will is moody too!" I just want to point out that Will's moody is actually what makes him funny. Like, when Jace gets all sad he's mopes and moans and goes, "Myyyy liiiiife suuuuckkkkks... I just wanna *spoiler if you haven't read CoFA* kill my giiiirlfriend, but I looooove heeeeeer. Screeeew yoooou Liliiiith! Grooooooannnn..." but Will gets downright feisty and sarcastic, not even allowing time for any of the pity party stuff.
- Another thing that Will has under control is that Will has a relationship with Tessa that for me (notice 'me' is in italics) is more interesting to read about than Jace's relationship with Clary. Sorry. That's just how it is for me. It's like, I have Jace and Clary's whiny, there's always something wrong relationship on one hand (which I know some people like, but it gets old after a while, come on!) and on the other I have Will and Tessa's spontaneous admirations for each other.
- Speaking of spontaneous, that's basically Will in a nutshell. He's random, quirky, emotional, and generally fun to read about. Jace used to be like that... until he evolved into the same tired routine of snark, kissing Clary, then pity party. Over and over and over... ugh.
- And finally... not to sound shallow, but I think that William is more attractive than Jace, but that's just in my opinion and that's because I have pictures of the characters in my head one way, and you might have them another. Though in my head, Jace is sexy... but Will is about 10 times sexier.
So, there's my reasoning. Sorry for writing such a long post, but I just had to get my feelings about this out (nobody will listen to me about all this book stuff at school...).
And don't take this the wrong way, I am (was) practically in love with Jace too! I just miss the way he was in the earlier books... I mean, compare Jace now, to Will now. All right, I'm done now. I promise.

I like Will the best I think. He's got more of a darker past and the poor guy has to had to live 5 years with a "curse" (that turned out to be false), and pretend to be someone he's not and cruel to push people away, when in reality he was such a beautiful, good person. And especially Tessa. He finally gets to tell her why he's been acting cruel towards her and that he loves her only to have his heart broken...:(
