Me too! I remember before I read CA, I saw everyone arguing over who was better. Then I read it and was like, we know hardly anything about either boy!!! but if forced to choose, I choose Will. I've said it before, but I think it's a Herondale thing. Haha and now I can't exactly change my mind, because I have "Team Will" written inside CA (courtesy of Cassie).
I would love to have my own jem. I think imma make my hubby get silver contacts an find the right color hair dye!! (sorry love of my life but silver is sexy beast now! ~kisses~)
an just so all knows, I think tessa has shadowhunter blood in her veins!! warlock for sure BUT no mark? think about simon walkin in the sun after bitin jace!!
me too!!! The only thing is that there probably be a war between girls...
I am COMPLETELY in love with Jace!!!! He is AMAZING!!!!
Shaina wrote: "i think jace, but i love how Will is british!"I agree! that's why I don't want them to let Jace have a british accent in the movie...that's Will's thing..(although I guess technically Will is welsh. but I think of him as british!)
why would they want jace to have a british accent in the movie?
Because Jamie Campbell Bower has a british accent, so they're thinking about keeping it, because otherwise he might sound unnatural or something, idk. and yeah someone asked Cassie if Jace has any sort of accent (like yes, an Idris related one) and she said if he does it's very faint, otherwise Clary would've remarked on it.
NO! They CAN'T give Jace a British accent! That's ridiculous, if they do that they might as well just call him Will, and merge the two books into one movie... the whole point is that it takes place in America ... if they want a British movie, make Clockwork Angel into a movie and forget MI! GOSH!(okay I'll admit I may have got slightly carried away ... sorry...)
Well I don't care :D Jace is still Jace. If they made an amazing movie just as amazing as the book, then it doesn't matter how kind of accent they give Jace 'I think'.
agreed... i have no problem with British accents.... in fact i find them hot... and seeing as Jace is hott, i feel they kinda go hand in hand. i can totally picture him with an accent, and anyways, isn't Idris over in that part of the world anyways?
I don't have a problem with British accents either... I'm British :PI just can't really picture Jace with a British accent...

Okay well just to clarify, I actually LOVE british accents. I just DON'T agree with changing Jace like that. And actually Cassie says on twitter that Jace is half british and half french, because that's what his parents were. So she said she'd be fine with it. I just dont want them drastically changing the way he speaks, because Jace talking is such an important part of who he is. :/ I realize it's not that big a deal, but it still matters to me..
Jace is half French?! Dudee....I don't agree with changing Jace to British accent like that either... I mean Clary would have commented on it if he had a British accent ... so he clearly didn't really have any accent (well unusual to Clary) otherwise we would have heard about it...
Matters to me too, Katherine!
Jess wrote: "i like jem"Oh me too! I adore Jem! :)
First I thought Will and Jace were very similar; the way they talked, their attitudes etc but as the story progressed, I started to see differences.
First of all Will is soo rude and insensitive (I really felt like smacking him because of what he said to Tessa at the last after he kissed her).
I think Will makes Jace seem like an angel! :)
Ana wrote: "me too!!! The only thing is that there probably be a war between girls..."Very true! I for one wouldn't mind trying my luck...XD
Jace should have a new york accent he's lived in the city for half his life. He rides the subways and hails cabs he has being a new yorker pretty down pat.:)

He's not from America and Will's not from England, but Jace is my New York City fictional bf and Will is my british fictional bf.
I'm very frustrated at the movie people for trying change this for me.
Ive never seen Lily collins in anything, does she have a british accent? There is absolutely no way that Simon and Clary can have anything but a Brooklyn accent. I hope that the producers keep it true to nyc and brooklyn.
I started to read The Clockwork Angel, but the fact that it dated back that far threw me off. Is it worth reading, and as good as the Mortal Instruments? By the way, The City of Fallen Angels was AWESOME!
Even though I haven't read The Clockwork Angel yet, I don't think that any other male character could measure up to him.
personally I love CA more than the MI books. especially more than CoFA!! I did not like that book -.-
I personally LOVE Clockwork Angel, but it wasn't as amazing as the MI series. but you have to think, not many books can measure up to the MI series loland i vote Jace and Jem, not Will. he looks pretty and all, but he is a total JERK! especially after what he said to Tessa towards the end... he made me so mad!!!! but, Jem, he's so cute!!!! =D
I kinda like Will's jerkness. it gives him character. Also, they REALLY need to find a cure for Jem :( it is so sad his illness is...but yeah i do like Jace more than Will...

While Lily IS british, she mostly grew up in LA so in her words she "is very british, but sounds very LA."
I think Will is more like Alec. will is rude and outrageous because of a dark secret. Alec is brooding and occasionaly surly because he had a secret. hopefuly Will will become more sweeter when his secret comes out.
yea... i just hope that Alec and Will don't have the same secret.... i like Alec's secret and all, i just don't think it is very...Will....and i hope you're right, that Will gets sweeter when his secret is out...
I think that Jace and Will's one similarity is sense of humor, and that's about it. (other than that they're both gorgeous, badass shadowhunters.) It's just that sense of humor is such a big part of who they are (or they use it to mask who they are, whatever). They use their quick wit so much, people think they're basically the same person. Really Jace only hides how sensitive and vulnerable he is, that's it. Will hides everything.
haha...
to me it doesn't matter Jace forever
