Not a Book

A few months ago I came across a book that GR classified as "Not a Book". I asked about it in the GR Feedback group. Someone was kind enough to straighten that out, but I was referred to this group should I experience this phenomenon again. Here I am . . .

I just tried to add the book Flags of The American Revolution to Color (ISBN 0883880336). It comes back as Not a Book. I have had this book for 30+ years.

Is there someone who can help me get this properly listed? I appreciate the assistance.

I believe coloring books are marked as Not A Book.

While there is coloring that can be done with this, it is far more than a coloring book. Each of the nation's early flags are depicted with its history. I use this as a reference for my students.

This is not what one would normally classify as a coloring book.

Coloring books which are meant to be disposed of after they have been colored are not considered books, but there are some reference or nonfiction books which are described as "coloring books" but meant to be kept. Those are considered books by GR and should not be marked NOT A BOOK.

It does, although the copyright on my copy is 1975. I also have a different cover for the book. A quick search does not turn up the cover I have. No biggy.

It sounds like the book was reprinted with a new cover and the old ISBN, which happens sometimes. If you have a picture or a scan of the cover of your edition I can add an alternate cover edition for you, if you'd like.
