Dana (erato) | 922 comments You knew it was coming Steph. ;)

Sometimes I feel like I am at this silent auction with you Steph, and you are just leading me from table to table and innocently saying, "Oh, look! Isn't that interesting?" Then you just giving me a look (no pressure mind you), and patiently wait until I cave and sign the paper.

"Here Dana", Steph says taking my hand. "There is something over here you just have to see!" *meekly* "Yes Steph", I say with a dazed look on my face....

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Go, Dana, Go!! Ra*Ra*Ra* :) My hubby's excited about the next one in a month+ too. He's a major DF fan.

To play devil's advocate (so unlike me, I know) are you gonna read the shorts too? Huh, huh? ;)

Backup (The Dresden Files, #10.2) by Jim Butcher Side Jobs Stories From the Dresden Files (The Dresden Files, #12.5) by Jim Butcher

Dana (erato) | 922 comments I probably should read Backup again since it has been awhile. I read Side Jobs: Stories From the Dresden Files just a few months ago (so technically I read it this year!) though so I may 'cheat' a bit if time gets tight and just read 'Aftermath' from that to keep the continuity.

Totally unlike you BTW. ;P

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments WOOHOO! Great job! That's a series I still haven't finished myself. I've only read 1-4.

Sandra | 25908 comments Hooray, Crystal!

I enjoyed them as well ;)

message 62: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments Yay, Crystal! How'd you like the movie?

message 63: by Crystal S (new)

Crystal S (crystalann) | 487 comments I really enjoyed it. There are things I would have changed, but overall I've actually enjoyed all the movies. The books, obviously, are a million times better, but I think the movies are done well enough and cast well enough that, to me, it makes the "Harry Potter experience" richer. Almost like they supplement my imagination when reading the books.
