It was a huge part. I feel that Donte would have been given a 30 day stay if he were white, they would have taken the time to hear the new evidence and not so quick to kill. I also think that if Boyette were black they would have believed him more when he did try to confess

Of course. I agree with Michelle. They may not have even believed it themselves, but people naturally judge and for generations to come, people will be racist.. They will deny it, but it is obvious. They knew they could manipulate him and scare him more easily... He was trustful and sweet. I am sure they also believed since he was AFrican American, that in their minds that equals a delinquent... I will get back on this one too.. lol
