Brittomart Okay, so I was at dinner, and we were discussing class schedules. Tomorrow, I have 5 classes, and I go from 9:30AM to 4:45 PM. Three 75-minute classes and two recitations. Tuesdays, I have this same schedule just without the two recitations, so I have more breaks.

But I only have one 50-minute class on Monday and Wednesday and NO CLASSES ON FRIDAY. Every weekend is a 3-day weekend, bitches.

So we're discussing schedules, and I was talking about how tomorrow is hell day for me, and all of my friends kept dogging it, and I was thinking, "Why do we do this? If something is already hard for someone, why do we go 'oh that's so terrible! I would never want that!'" do y'all know what I mean?

Or if someone is going through something rough, someone is like, "Oh well, I have it worse!"

Phil | 11837 comments Why do people play the game? Because every one of us is self-centered. We hear you piss & moan, which takes the focus from us. We then expend energy trying to win that attention back. Psych 101.

Brittomart I had psych 101, and we didn't talk about that.

although my professor did spend a week and a half on dreams.

Phil | 11837 comments Your prof's dreams? It's all about ego.

message 5: by Brittomart (new)

Brittomart Not his dreams, on like, dreams. Period.

Félix (habitseven) You think that's something? That's nothing. My psych 101 prof was really a loon.

They're just jealous of your martyrdom. Be fierce! Whatever the hell that means...
