Several languages in descriptions

I've been working with Finnish authors, prizes and series for the past few days and have tried to add descriptions in both in English and Finnish. Finnish because these records are mostly concern of Finnish users and English because this is site in English.

How ever this made the descriptions look slightly messy, so I decided to add two letter language codes (ISO 639-1) in front of each language description in bold. I feel this makes the descriptions look much nicer and it's easier to see straight away where each language starts.

Now I started to wonder, if this is actually ok or if there is already some other used practice to handle this situation, that I haven't yet stumbled upon (as I'm fairly new in GR). Is there?

That's interesting. When I add information in two languages, I just skip an extra line in between -- I've never used anything else to mark it.

Then again, when I do so it's usually Hebrew + English, which are far more easily distinguishable with a quick glance.

I considered that too, but it didn't as look good to me. Then again I'm bit nit-picky when it comes to the looks of a text...

I like that, especially since it lets you know right away that there will be more than one language used.

I kind of like it. It shows the non-bilingual reader what the second language is in a glance.
