Jennifer (jml_417) Do you have a beauty secret/tip that others think is strange? What is it?

Jennifer (jml_417) I used to work in a chemical lab and had to wear latex gloves all day. My hands would get so dry and crack so bad that they would actually bleed. I used Polysporin cream as a hand cream each night before bed - it really moisturized and helped heal the cracks so they wouldn't get infected.

I still do this in the winter, once or twice a week.

Sara (rstjm4) | 70 comments I don't have any weird beauty tips because I don't wear make up (just lotion) and my hair is pulled up most days! Some people think that is weird!

Sue J (sue-j) | 54 comments Some time back I read that people were using haemorrhoid cream to banish under-eye bags and wrinkles - I never tried it!

Theresa Vaseline. I know a lot of people say it's too heavy and greasy, but since I live in a cold climate and don't have break-out issues any more, this is my favorite moisturizer. I mostly use it on the body, but every once in awhile I'll give my face a real moisture boost with it. And I haven't found anything to beat it for keeping feet in soft shape.

Julie | 59 comments Jennifer, I will have to try the antibiotic cream on the cracks at the tips of my fingers. Do you think Neosporin would work just as well?

The only thing I can think of that is strange is I keep baby nail clippers all over the house to cut the little "sprouts" along my nails. They work so much better than even the expensive cuticle nippers.

I swear by Lip Medex glopped on thick at bedtime to keep my lips soft. I've been known to find a pharmacy late at night if I forget to pack it for an overnight trip.

I've hearrd that, too, Sue. I also heard the smell is awful! hmmm, maybe it's not so bad of a trade off, lol.

Carol (actutor) I think that was one of the tricks the Miss America contestants used during the pageant's Atlantic City days.
