Name a Song You Listened to in the Last 24 Hours.
I can't really see a cringe in this one, but I'll take your word for it....stage fright is horrible isn't it? I've found a good way to try and conquer it is by going to karaoke night at certain nightclubs. Nothing helps beat stage fright than singing Neil Diamond's "Cracklin' Rosie" in front of a bunch of drunken yahoos ;) hehe
Oh Amelia, I hate that guy for you. Not a nice thing to do. And very cool about your Gran...though it does take the fun out of things when you are made to do stuff you do not feel confidant about.
Have the radio tuned to 97.1 listening to all the holiday songs playing :)Right now its "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmastime"
Tears you can't hide - Madness
Christopher, there isn't enough alcohol on the planet! I'd achieve alcohol poisoning and die before I sang karaoke.
Squeeze - Hourglass.

Listening to Crusade by Voltaire by the way....interesting song.
I listened to a country band that covered War Pigs by Black Sabbath...they had a dude on the fiddle.Amazing stuff!

"Jeannie Needs a Shooter" - Bruce Springsteen
Sorry. I only like to listen to it at home. This is the first year I have ever listened to it this early. I usually save it for wrapping presents. But the little boy is sooooo excited about Christmas this year that he has me swept up in him merriment. :)

I completely agree! Not down our throats, people. When I worked in retail around the holidays I seriously wanted to stab my ears with a dull pencil.
My solution is to avoid public places...and the public in general.
Dead Presidents - J. Geils Band

That makes me think of Jackie. Dammit. I miss seeing her around these parts.
Full Force Gale - Van Morrison
Big Balls - ACDC...dang I love this song!
Aw, hell...Could've Been - Tiffany

Let There Be Love - Nat King Cole
Babe - Styx...oh dear, melancholy taking over...
Seriously, Heiders, do you not have earbuds? Just drown it out with something totally irreverant. I suggest the afore mentioned Big Balls by ACDC. If you really want to protest, you could sing along really loudly in whatever public venue you are being torured in.

I hope you gave him what for hehe ;) I might gently tease my friends about their fears, but I would never force them to confront them unless they were good and ready to. I'm sorry that happened to you.
That's really neat about your gran though.
