Genius, right?"
Pretty great.
ummmm. what's going on? Are you all posting music in some other, less generic thread? Because that's not gonna work for me. I come HERE to find music. Are you telling me none of you have listened to a song in the last 3 days?? I was gonna post one but now I'm not. Hrmph!

"All our past times" - Clapton and Danko. From the West German (yes Virgina, there was once a W. Germany) import version of Just One Night.
And the rest of the double CD set too! I got started on this a day or so again as there was a post on GR about one's first favorite album. For that post I included 461 Ocean Boulevard. Just One Night has long been one of my favorite imports.
Oh my stars! Are you serious? Does such a thing exist? Can I find it with my computer?!? Doesn't matter. You've given me something to search for. Thank you!(That's the best thing I've ever gotten from a hissy fit)

Oh yes it is real! Just One Night from Eric Clapton is very real. Live from the Budokan in Tokyo this is a legendary album and the import (either on CD or Vinyl) versions circa 1980 are the best. This was when CD's were being properly made and were not just MP3 samples.
There is a remastered version from the the late 90's that isn't the same. The GEMA licensed RSO version labeled Made in West Germany on CD is the one you want!
I purchased the 1980s remastered vinyl and will patiently await it's delivery as I listen to the digital version which is downloading to my computer as I type this. Thanks a million!

Cool. I just listened to the Lazy Cowgirls' "When It Comes to You I've Got No Dreams to Lose." Do you know where they're from, Clark?
Alone by myself at home today, with only a bottle, stereo, and the rain for company, a dangerous combination.

That would be telling...I just reviewed my "All Wet" Shebang before burning my copies. :)
Clark; you're missing out! I've managed to get Squeeze, The Cars AND The Knack on there...course, I expect you already have those songs somewhere. Just not on an awesome Amelia mix. :)

That will hardly stop me. I also have a mind to put in a Cars cover.
There is always the chance we might choose the same songs. We do think alike quite often.
If god made you, he's in love with me. Whatever the acti title is. By Five For Fighting
Hats really good Smerch, at least I know you'll like the one song then.
Clark, was that a guess? Because the answer isn't just "no", it's "he'll no, I don't even know wha your talking about.

The Knack: "My Sharona"
"Good Girls Don't"
The Cars: "My Best Friend's Girl"
"Let's Go"

If you can gut out the pre-video ad for the wanky Bieber clone, you'll find enough wah-wah here to make your head spin. RIP Jim Ellison. I'm still listening.
