These books were my favorite of the civil war period. I wish she would still write more!

Charlsie, I am sorry that I missed your post. Welcome to our group. I have been a little behind and I apologized I didn't welcome you and Belle sooner. This is a great group and everyone is great in sharing new books that they uncover. So again, welcome to both of you!!

Howdy, y'all!

Hi Don!! Welcome!! I would have to agree with you about the Civil War era being the age of chivalry. I will admit that I do read a few books that are not stories from that time period, but very rarely. I make a search through Amazon looking for books of that time. So glad to have another enthusiast join our group.

Hi Caro, welcome to the group :)
If you look at the "lets talk books" thread there should be plenty there that are top favourite as well check out the bookshelf.
I will add the thread for you as well, but the group hasn't had lots of activity. Hope you get some answers from it though :)

Welcome Jerry! It appears that Sandi has already address any issue with promoting your book here. This is a group of people that love "The Old South" and we review or recommend books that are written in that time period.

And while I fully predict this urge to subside (after it realizes it mistakenly stumbled into the wrong vessel), this group seems the apropos venue for expressing the pleasure I had in reading this book.

I have read this series several times. Always one I can go back to for an excellent read. Welcome Courtney!!
