Its always Harry Potter! And wait a minute, where does the comparison come from? Harry Potter Series are way better than the Twilight Series to be compared.

Why? Better plot twists, better overall thought out plot, written better, has deep characters that grow throughout the whole series, has an engaging story that you can't escape from, and Voldemort...he'd kick any sparkly vampire's butt any day...hands down. And Snape...he is definite win as well.

I don't think it's a good idea to compare these two books. They're different, the readers they were written for belong to two complete different ages. Don't waste your time discussing! Sometimes when you like a book just like it and there's no point trying to persuade other people to like it. With all due respect I really don't understand why people are obsessed with comparing Harry Potter with everything. It is a book I just couldn't read and I don't plan to read but I understand if other people read it.

I haven't read Harry Potter, but I personally think that Twilight is untouchable! All Harry Potter is is magical people fight each other, while Twilight, on the other hand is about realtionships and love! I couldn't agree more with the person who wrote this! Go team Jakeward!
Magical people fighting each other...that is simply hilarious. To me Harry Potter is a series about friendship, loyalty, betrayal, and trying to thwart a Hitler like evil. The guy is trying to create a perfect race, and literally bringing about WW3. Harry Potter does have relationship and love, but not to the extent of what Twilight has, which in it's own right is okay. HP is not a full on love story, but is one that is full of heart. Yeah I don't like Twilight, but the series are totally different from each other, and have their own rights to be loved by people...just not compared, since it's just wrong.

Ok, so maybe Harry Potter isn't bad, but Twilight is better that any other book out there! Team Jakeward all the way, baby! Lova ya! (Your fury makes everything much more fun to read!) :D

Second shelf to be exact behind The Sight, and before Gone. Spine is a little crinkled and damaged. I keep it b/c I take a red pen to it, just for the fun of it. And saying Twilight is better than any book out there...please read other books...or try to, since there is a whole race of books far better than Twilight will ever wish to be.

Can I give you a cyber high-five? I know that's lame, but it's the best I can do considering you summed up my feelings perfectly. Also, I find it astounding how Potter fans are often more grammatically correct in comparison to SMeyer fans.
Please read Mark Oshiro's Twilight blog if you'd like some enlightenment. He's also blogged Potter, if you're up for a massive read.
Also, why, Cedric? Why do you SPARKLE?!

I have read so many books, and I know that Twilight is up ther with the best! Thanks for pointing that out, sugar plum!

I haven't had this much fun about talking about Twilight ever! I am the only Twihard at my school and I never have anyone to talk about the amazing works of Twilight to! Harry Potter has a bit of something for everybody of all ages. It has spellbinding magic, clever wit, humour and mystery, recognisable protagonists and antagonists, captures its audiences attention has a unique story plot and increases in character development not just from one chapter to another, but also from book to book as the series proceeds onwards and readers are enlightened to realise answers to questions they wondered from the beginning. It has influenced younger children into reading, which unfortunately does not occur too often in today's early youth and its good to see literary skills burn brightly in children as young as the age of someone attention primary school.
I say, without a doubt, Harry Potter. Hands down.
Leeza wrote: "Harry Potter has a bit of something for everybody of all ages. HP has made more may than twilight, sure, but harry Potter has like 10 movies ou and Twilight only has 3 out! As for the kids reading, there are only a handful of the kids at my school who are actually proud to be a HP fan and talk about it, unlike us Twihards who have many followers and love to talk and have book discussions about it!
Peace out! Twihardy-Rachel
Harry Potter has 8 movies. And honestly I don't mind you liking Twilight, but I don't care for Twihards...since one literally mauled me with a hard cover book. I don't like the fact that a book was used to cut my forehead open and give me some nice stitches. See in all the years of reading, I have never known any fan of HP to attack anyone over opinions. :/

Then she grabbed a hard cover book, and yeah. :/ I just don't see how a book/movie could make people go nuts. It's just a book, written on paper. Nothing more.

Stephenie Meyer's did have very good ideas and I did enjoy reading Twilight. Its quite a intricate, good series. Its good that you're a proud Twihard fan, but although I do vouch for the Twilight book series, the movies didn't do much for me unfortunately lol but at heart, I'll always be a Potter fan :3
Yes, I do know Kimberly that you do not like HP. I vote for HP for this one. I personally enjoyed reading HP more than Twilight. Plus they are about completely different things. The only similar thing is that they are both very popular. HP has more complexity and has a lot of themes to it and unforgetable characters...Twilight is a good idea and has good writing...But I enjoyed HP more. My opinion. There is not one better than the other.

Twihardy-Rachel signing out!<3
Once again Lea was stating her opinion...and her opinion is that HP is better, and I agree. Aren't opinions great...respecting them and all? Okay enough out of me, going back to Supernatural...and then work.

Both Harry Potter and The Twilight Saga are very enjoyable in their respective ways, but plot for plot, character for character, and even pound for pound in net weight there is no comparison. It’s Harry Potter every time. The real question is: Why are people still having this argument? It’s as pointless as Pepsi vs. Coke.
can't believe someone would have the nerve to compare Twilight to Harry Potter! WTH?!?? The books are soo very different - Harry Potter's for adults, kids, boys and girls whereas Twilight is a romance!! - ithink that sums it up!!! lol!!! i thik my mouth dropped when i saw this!!!

I was just kidding- everybody lets mistakes slip by...including SM and her editors...sorry about your wrist, I've actually been through that...is it your dominant hand? mine was, it sucked :(
Oh haha i knew you were kidding...i'm a horrible uhhhh....typer...since my keyboard makes me rage. But yeah it's my dominant hand...I can sort of draw and type still it's just ick to me. Working isn't fun either...the fact that they made me work after the incident was just horrible. :/
yeah, employers generally are not very understanding...hope it heals up soon! and, oh, don't let them leave you in the cast too long...and if they do, be sure to do the physical therapy- I've had maybe 50% function in my wrist for 8 years b/c of that.
Kirby wrote: "yeah, employers generally are not very understanding...hope it heals up soon! and, oh, don't let them leave you in the cast too long...and if they do, be sure to do the physical therapy- I've had ..."yeah employers don't care at all...I was put on sandwiches...major pain, plus in that wrist I have tendinitis, and carpal tunnel syndrome...so yay me...
This series and Harry Potter a my favorite series, i honestly cant decide! I've read like the H.P. series like five time, but i just recently read the Twilight series, I so cant wait for the last movie 2 come out!!!!!
