did it have anything to do with him listening to the radio or was that a coincidence?

did he hear that horrible xm radio dj, Madison, and decide to end his torture immediately rather than change the channel?
Did he have a torrid but doomed one night stand with the singer of the band that was playing? Was he the guy in Heart's "All I Want To Do Is Make Love to You?" and he just realized that Ann Wilson might be raising his child?
Is he Warren Beatty, and has he just had the epiphany that the song really is about him, and he really is that vain?
Had he made a pact with himself that he would kill himself if he ever heard "Loving You" by Minnie Riperton on the radio again?Had his radio short-circuited while "Loving You" was playing, forcing him to listen to the whole song?

No, thank you. Just thinking about it got another song stuck in my head.::singing.... knowing me knowing you...."
Cause if he is a DJ, maybe he put on Alice's Restaurant and then stepped out to meet his lover for a quickie, but on his way back his car died, and he realized he wouldn't make it back to the station in time, and the dead air would mean the end of his career, so he killed himself.
Yes. It used to be that the record he left on was skipping, so his boss, his wife, everyone would know he wasn't at the controls and had known for who knows how long. So as he was driving back to work from his mistress's (?) house he heard that, realized his job/marriage/life was over, and shot himself.
